Hotel seems to be getting run dow i.e. Sauna Steam room, Hot Tub are all showing worse for wear.

Cons: The parking spaces are too small, making parking very difficult.
This hotel is close enough to downtown Calistoga that one can walk to town, but far enough away to feel private.

Good location and rooms, bad stuff and hot tub!

Location, breakfast and rooms are very good, but staff is not friendly nor welcoming at all. Be careful with hot tub which ruined/faded our bright and nice bikinies and irritated our bodies. I complained about it with the manager and she deducted the price of my bikini from the final bill but she was trying to negotiate the price that it cost because it was used... Definitely very bad service!!!

Great hotel in Calistoga

Cons: Don't change a thing
Location: 5 minute walk into downtown Calistoga. Plentiful choice of restaurants/cafe's/bar's and local wineries.
Perhaps our two most relaxing and enjoyable days in California were spent here in the Napa Valley. Its a great hotel, perfectly situated for the charming town of Calistoga with all it's restaurants/wineries and don't miss the chance for a mud bath at one of the local Spa's (a really unique experience!). Hotel room was big, clean, well equipped with good air con and wifi. Great pool/hot tub area out the back and fantastic complimentary breakfast every morning downstairs. Helpful staff who were full of suggestions for Wineries/Restaurants etc. There really is very little to dislike!

Just stayed one night, but the room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was very professional. Didn't try the complimentary breakfast the next morning, but it was nice that it was included in our stay.

Convenient hotel in Calistoga

Pros: Location and cost.
Location: Many vineyards for touring, good restaurants, spas.
Comfortable and reasonably priced motor hotel on the edge of Calistoga. Ideally located so that it is a short and pleasant walk to downtown and all of the popular restaurants including Solbar. Staff are friendly and accommodating and a breakfast with something to satisfy everyone is included as well as free Wifi.

Large clean rooms

Hotel has large clean rooms with comfortable beds. We had two parents and two college students and had plenty of room. The included breakfast was more extensive then we expected. Staff was friendly and helpful. Calistoga is a beautiful town, not in the center of napa valley, but easy to get to the wineries. Would stay there again.

A word of caution if you book here by credit card

Pros: Superbly presented hotel with lovely rooms
Cons: They cancelled our booking with no notice....
Location: Within easy walking distance to downtown all Calistoga attractions
A great hotel with wonderful rooms. Unfortunately we were very disappointed we could only stay one of the 3 nights we had booked as the hotel had cancelled our booking without notifying us or Expedia. They did manage to find us a room on the evening we arrived and booked us into another hotel for the remainder of our stay. However this accommodation was of a much lower quality. Their reason they cancelled our booking was that the assumed our credit account had expired. This was incorrect. We booked through Expedia using our credit card account (with a major credit card company) many months before we traveled from New Zealand and received a confirmed booking. In doing so we gave all our credit account details including the current card's expiry date, which was about 5 weeks before we were due to travel. As with all credit cards they have an expiry date. About 2 weeks before the card expires the credit card company issues a new card on the same account and life goes on.... As the hotel had our credit account information a quick check with the credit card company would have confirmed it was still current. Expedia, people book through you using credit cards all the time, you collect full information on these cards at time of booking, and credit cards expire regularly... why do you not have some system in place to assure the hotels they remain valid? Especially if you send are sending out a confirmed booking to your customer?

Location: lovely town and great hiking trail beside the hotel
We loved this hotel - it is really well cared for - everything was presented to a very high standard. The room was lovely - very large and the bed was fab as was the bathroom = quality toiletries - we had a room on the ground floor with a view of the countryside.
