The Inn St Helena is one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. Wonderful location within walking distance of downtown. The innkeeper is a 10 hostess and culinary genius.

I had a wonderful weekend stay at Inn St. Helena. The bed was super comfy, and I loved the home cooked breakfast in the morning. The owner gave me some great recommendations for dinner and wineries to visit. The location is super convenient for walking. Free parking in the back. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in St. Helena.

We loved our stay here! Fantastic location, charming rooms and grounds, easy walk to restaurants, wine tastings, shopping and super friendly staff! Plus, we were served a delicious breakfast each morning and desserts when coming back at night! We couldn't have asked for more! It was a perfect stay and we would highly recommend this darling B&B!!

The breakfasts and opportunity to meet and talk to other guests around the table every morning made it extra-special. Our room 7 in the building next to the Inn was quaint with wonderful views and comfortable beds. Loved the daily mints too.

Our stay at the Inn St. Helena was overall pleasant. The room was nice and clean. Property is beautiful! We were a little thrown off when we were checking-in and they told us that there was not going to be enough breakfast for us in the morning and gave us a $20 voucher to a juice bar down the street instead. We figured this might be due to COVID protocols but were bummed since it is a Bed & Breakfast. In the morning we walked and got some juice and as we walked back into our building there were three couples sitting at the dining table saying that they were waiting for us to eat... There were two empty chairs there with food placed at their settings. We explained to the other guests that we were told we wouldn't be served breakfast so left and already got juices. The other guests seemed confused (as were we). It made the entire stay a little confusing/uncomfortable.

Inn St. Helena was the most pleasant experience I have ever had! This was my first time staying in a bed and breakfast, but I feel the expectation is now high for any others I might stay at! Patrice was so attentive and kind, she even gave us a little history lesson about the house and the grounds. Prior to our stay I had spoken on the phone with Julian and he was equally as great as Patrice. I don't think I would ever want to stay anywhere else when visiting St. Helena! We loved every moment of our stay there and plan on making a return trip!

A lovely property. Charming and well-maintained. Large showers. Breakfast each morning was served on-time and delicious. The host and her staff were pleasant, friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.

Quaint and comfortable
Wonderful hospitality. Great location. Nice amenities. Superb breakfast. The walls were a little thin and the couple below talked all night. That was more on the rude couple though. Could hear doors closing etc. However, it is a creepy historic old house so you’ll have some of that. Really great experience overall. Got me checked in a little earlier upon my arrival. Booked a massage for me due to a bad migraine.

This B&B was the perfect spot in the center of St Helena. The rooms were very well appointed and the beds were very comfortable. The daily breakfasts were outstanding and were gourmet style! The Inn has a few areas to relax and enjoy the serenity of the property. We will definitely be returning.

Fantastic little gem! Clean wonderful Inn St Helena, just happened upon it for a short stay; the proprietor Petrice is an awesome host and the included breakfast was amazing! And who doesn’t love free on-site parking?

Gorgeous room, perfect breakfast, friendly but no intrusive staffs. I totally agree there are many repeaters. Personally, St. Helena is better quint town than Napa.

We had a lovely stay here. The Inn is a perfect location, easy walking distance to nearby restaurants and shops in St. Helena, and it’s a short drive to world-class wineries. The Inn is very cute, and the staff is excellent. Our innkeeper Petrice made a wonderful breakfast (I can still taste that quiche and croissant!) and she even gave us a breakfast coupon to a nearby bakery the next day because we were leaving early before breakfast would be served. We loved our stay and hope to return!

The Innkeeper, Pat, was very nice and welcoming. Breakfast was amazing! There is one breakfast seating at 9am, so plan your other activities accordingly. We could hear some noise from others staying in the same house as us but I suppose that happens even in a regular hotel too. Lovely property and room!

The period style has been preserved with the addition of modern amenities in such a charming setting. We stayed in the Ambrose Bierce suite and were so pleased with the lovely rooms, the comfy bed, quality linens and extra touches like fresh flowers and water bottles. The fireplace heated the sitting room very quickly and added such a cozy touch on a very blustery day. We walked to some excellent restaurants and wished we could've stayed longer than 2 days. The breakfasts were very good, and we met some very nice people. I especially enjoyed the upstairs sitting area--so bright and comfortable. I would love to return when it's warmer and try out the porch swing and hot tub. I highly recommend this place!

Great Escape

The house we were in was quite a surprise, as it was an actual house with sitting areas, full kitchen, dining area and all the necessities. We really just needed the bedroom, but the extra room was very nice. That would be great to rent for a group of people. I’ve been to a lot of B & B’s and this one was very nice. My only disappointment is that the breakfasts were not up to the standard I am use to. They were adequate, but I’ve had some unbelievable breakfasts at other inns. We had a wonderful stay. The inn is very close to town and there are excellent restaurants and shops within walking distance. A very enjoyable experience.
