Amazing views

Pros: Roominess of the two bedroom place. It was like being at home.
The staff is super friendly and very helpful. We never once had a problem finding the place even though it seemed a little distant from the main mansion. They arranged for everything. The beds are super comfy, the window views are breathtaking, the bathrooms are very very nice. I can't believe how big our place was for what I paid. Definitely going to stay there again!

Cons: Spa was overpriced for the services received..
Had a light out in the bathroom and asked to fix...and did not happen. Overall it is a nice hotel and food is great...but a few details and service could have been better.

Apartment like accommodations

More like staying in an apartment complex than a hotel. Outdated grounds and structures although rooms themselves have been updated. Kind of a depressing place, wouldn't go back.

Great staff and renovated rooms

Cons: The kitchen could have used some baking sheets--we were unable to use the oven because of this. They had dishes, pots/pans, utensils, but no sheets.
The staff was incredibly accommodating and had great recommendations of local wineries. The suite was recently renovated and very clean. Beautiful grounds.

While the gentlemen greeting you upon arrival were welcoming our ineraction with the rest of the staff was mediocre at best. Never could get through to front desk. Housekeeping did not check on us. The hotel is nice for an older hotel. Expansive grounds are nice and open. Spa was just ok. Would rec but only if offering a deal on rates.

The hotel was more than ok, but not quite enough to say pleasing, thus the 3.5 overall rating. The grounds were nicely maintained. The room had been partially updated but still could have used a few more updates. The units were laid out like a condominium and my unit was on the second floor, requiring me to haul my luggage up the stairs. The front desk said there were bellmen to help, but I didn't see any. The spa facilities were good, although the sauna was inoperable during my visit. Overall, it was a decent resort and I guess a pretty good value.

Very homey vibe

We received a free upgrade to a suite for our three day stay over the New Year. It was essentially a one bedroom apartment complete with a living room and full kitchen. In fact, the entire resort felt more like an apartment/condo community than a hotel/resort. The only negative comment I could make is the aesthetic of the decor is a bit "old" but I'm really not complaining. Very easy drive to Napa wineries or the Napa downtown. We would stay again.

Adorable resort with very friendly staff! Jose was amazing :-) we also attended the New Year's Eve party & it was wonderful! I just wish we would have had an updated room! Other than that will stay again!

Nice quiet hotel with EV chargers

Pros: Quiet, with friendly staff. Electric car chargers ( 2x EVPlug, 4x Tesla HPWC)
Cons: As someone else mentioned, the clocks were all set incorrectly.
Location: Great location with just a short car ride needed to get into downtown Napa, or several wineries.
We stayed in one of the cottages, which is a 5-10 minute walk from the main building. The area was very quiet, and the room was clean and well furnished with a real fireplace cleaned and re-stocked each day. The cottages come with a carport which would be great, however it's a tandem setup shared between 2 cottages. I would imagine that at peak times this would be very inconvenient, however we were the only car, so didn't have to worry about it. We picked this hotel specifically for the EV charging, so were happy to see that the chargers worked and were easy to locate.

needs an update

Pros: The grounds were very pretty
Cons: new carpet...
Location: good location - close to many attractions...
Very old decor and carpet (gross)... while pretty clean... the room was very cold... the heating unit was out of date... the water faucet barely worked on shower/tub... none of the clocks were set to the right time... looked like an old motel... would never stay again.
