Nice hotel for price range.

It is a clean motel, a bit older. They are renovating bathrooms and replacing carpets, so It is being brought up in standard. People were nice so had a nice stay.

Close to Napa downtown

Posted Apr 13, 2017
The WiFi signal is good. Bed is comfortable and wider than queen size. I like the firm mattress. However there are limited selections of breakfast.

Nice hotel close to downtown

Posted Apr 10, 2017
Pros: location, price, room size and appliances
My boyfriend and I had a great experience at Wine Valley Lodge. We got there a few hours before check-in, but the hotel's concierge was very accomodating and found an available room for us within minutes. The room itself was large and comfy, with a refrigerator, TV and plenty of hangers in the closet. The bathroom had good natural light and the heating system worked well in the evening when it got a bit chilly. The hotel is a convenient 5 min drive from downtown Napa, so it's easy to go into town for dinner and drinks, while it's also very close to the highway that you take to visit the wineries. We reached some wineries in 10 min, and others in St. Helena (such as Robert Mondavi) in around 20 min. Calistoga would prob take a bit longer. The breakfast in the morning was nothing amazing - there was no hot buffett, but there were bagels, cereals, juices, etc - but it was sufficient. I'm sure in the summer the pool outside is very nice. Overall would def stay here again as a convenient, comfy, budget friendly choice in Napa.

A Place To Sleep & Shower

Posted Apr 10, 2017
This motel served its purpose, a place to shower & sleep. It's a little old-fashioned and could use a some updates or remodeling. The bed was very comfortable and the heater worked well. The bathroom, specifically the shower, was a little dark could use some lighting). I couldn't get the TV to work, which allowed me to go to bed early (probably a good thing). Even though the motel was a bit old and outdated it was less expensive the many other motels/hotels in the Napa Valley area, so I guess you get what you pay for.

Quaint place to stay

Posted Mar 27, 2017
Pros: Smaller, quiet
Location: About a mile walk from downtown Napa!
We were able to check in a little early, which was nice. The young lady running the front desk was friendly and welcoming. There's plenty of parking and breakfast included in the room rate. It looks like there's some construction going on at the hotel, mostly just room updates based on equipment and materials. Our room had been updated sometime recently. Definitely not a complete remodel, but an updating nonetheless. The bed was really tall, and I'm a little on he shorter side, so I literally had to climb up into it. That was fine for a night or two but wouldn't work at home for me. The bathroom was clean and had enough counter space for my stuff. The little window opened which was good for airing out and reducing steamed mirrors. The stall shower was adequate. Anyone over 6' might feel claustrophobic in it though, since the ceiling is a little low. There's a pool, which I didn't get to try, and a seating area in the center of the parking lot with ashtrays for all the smokers out there. It's not covered, so it would totally suck if you needed nicotine in the rain. The hotel is a little over a mile from the hotel. If you walk, like I did, you'll pass through an interesting mix of residential and commercial buildings. Generally speaking, it's not a bad place to stay if you're looking for a smaller place that's not right in the thick of things.

Clean and functional motel with comfortable bed

Posted Mar 17, 2017
We arrived late and the manager was very friendly...the room was small but had all the amenities: fridge, comfortable bed, big tv and lots of outlets. Breakfast was free and offered cereal and some whole fruit and packages of danish and cinnamon rolls also frozen egg sandwiches. We walked down the street to a convenience store to buy half and half. The breakfast crowd was mostly German and Dutch tourists, who like us were visiting Napa and wanted an inexpensive place to stay while touring wineries. This wasn't fancy by any means, but we enjoyed ourselves and slept well. It's about 20 minutes to walk into town. And one night we took an Uber back after dinner and drinks...4 minutes. We will definitely stay here again!

Meh hotel

Posted Mar 14, 2017
The place is pretty mediocre. The biggest thing that bugged me is that the day I checked out, I had a couple itchy bumps on the side of my body that I was sleeping on

Great value

Posted Mar 8, 2017
We needed a place for a quick overnight near downtown Napa. This place was a great value! It was in a convenient location, staff were friendly and hospitable, the breakfast was a great extra, with a variety of options. We would stay here again and definitely recommend for anyone looking for a good value and a basic room.

Dump

Old run-down motel in noisy and sketchy part of town. Lumpy mattress, thin walls, no water pressure, sporadic internet, inedible breakfast.
