Overall great experience. Harold’s is their main restaurant that everyone hung out at. Food was slightly above average. The staff however was subpar at the restaurant. Moreover, the hotel staff were all great.

A bit dated but clean with friendly staff. Good location and price. Harold's was very good and convenient. Andre's steakhouse across the street was fabulous. I would return.

The property looks like it hasn't seen an upgrade in the last 30 years. There were gaps in doors. The lampshades in the room looked like they had been through a hurricane. I saw hotel guests smoking in their rooms. I saw lots of people smoking at the pool and at Harold's (the on-site casual restaurant). It was hard to believe the hotel had such high ratings from other guests (which was why we stayed there in the first place).

The room smelled like mildew, and the shower fixture was opposite, cold was hot and hot was cold. The pool was also a little dirty, but the restaurant was great, and the food was excellent!

The room was a good size but the “bathroom” was very small consisting of a small shower and toilet but no sink. Television was very limited. WiFi was spotty and slow. Both TV and WiFi were available approximately half of the three days we were there. Additionally with our AT&T cellular we usually had one or no bars. On the plus side we tried all three of the restaurants on the property and they had good food and service. Unlike many hotels now they provided daily room cleaning.

The mattress was at least 20 years old. Worst ever. I knew my back would hurt in the am because it was so soft and old. The rooms were old. This place had no updates. I decided to go stay somewhere else. List my $252 Better then be crippled the next day.

Really?? 20 years old. Good thing reviews don't have to be factual. Wish I had the capability to upload pictures of the room. Some like hard,some like soft. No hotel mattress is going to much everyone's preference. You didn't even stay. Left after a couple hours. Your loss.

I've stayed at this property for about 7 years. And it's just getting dirtier and unclean. Pool usually vacuumed every morning, it was not. There is a small Tiki hut where they prepare food and cook. Every morning they clean this place out and brush it onto the concrete patio by the pool and drain it there. The smell is horrendous. I used to enjoy this place but it is just getting filthy... The rooms and the property.

Nice environment by the pool, restaurant and tiki bar. The rooms need an upgrade. Unpleasant smell in room, moldy and damp. Breakfast is limited - no oatmeal

This is more like an old 70's 80's style 2 story motel but we loved it. Pretty quiet and the pool is wonderful and heated. Connected is Harold's Tiki bar diner and that was also great. Will definitely be coming back.

We were encouraged by the high customer ratings but it is really a quite dated motel. The staff were lovely and the pool looked nice. We didn’t use it as we were only there for a quick overnight stay. The location is pretty good if that’s what you are after but it’s a pretty basic and dated room for the price.
