For a 3-star hotel, it was a great. Clean, updated rooms; a spacious studio. Pool was cleaned and well maintained and had nice BBQs that guests could use. We stayed there for 5 nights and rarely heard noise from other rooms. Enjoyed the included breakfast (except not much in the way of gluten or dairy free). We’d stay there again.

I had quite a bit of trouble with my booking through Expedia. Had to reschedule as Homewood didn’t have my booking. On arrival I once again didn’t have my booking even though an Expedia agent helped me- NOT THE HOTELS FAULT. Courtney at the front desk was able to get me the room for the same price as Expedia. She was very knowledgeable and helpful on what to see and do in the surrounding areas. The breakfast every morning was convenient and delish.

The staff were all very friendly and welcoming! The Breakfast staff did a great job of putting out a very nice spread with the added hot dishes! The pool water was tested and the area was very nice, grills available, on site self laundry, a workout room, newspapers, maps, a lending library, cold water in the available during the day-all great amenities for guests!

The hotel is seeming dated and not cared for. Stains on a lot of the chairs. Our bathroom sink was cracked and caulked badly. The taps and toilet were leaking. Pillows on the bed were lumpy and uncomfortable.

If you like to find actual drugs, along with drug paraphernalia in your room when you check in - then this is your place. Good location. Great room layout. The staff was pleasant and accommodating when we asked to change rooms due to the above mentioned drug issue. Did not have the opportunity to speak to a manager, and we were not contacted during our stay by management. We brought the actual items (3) to the front desk - could not make this up if I tried. We will not stay here again.

Happy with my stay!
Front desk staff was friendly and courteous. They had games that you could borrow. My only issue was that the room seemed like it needed a deep clean. Walls and doors were pretty dirty. Breakfast was good. Nice spread. On our second morning it seemed like someone dripped syrup all over the floors between the dining area and the elevator. Very sticky. I watched a few of the housekeeping staff walk through it and nobody cleaned it up. Everyone just flgot sticky shoes.

Hallways needed to be vacuumed - it wasn’t all that bad. Location was convenient and close to grocery and restaurant - key as I didn’t have a car. Road m was great. Pool area looked really nice but I didn’t get here until it was closed. Staff was great!!!

We spent two nights there and it was really great. The breakfast is great, the room is clean and well arranged, we did not use the pool but it seems pretty well. And the area is great, ten minutes driving and you are at the beach and can enjoy some great seafood's restaurant.

The hotel is not bad, but I am giving a bad review because I left a new sweater and when I called they were not interested at all in looking for it. They promised to call me back, which they did not do, so I called once again and it was like starting over. I did this a third time two days later with no success ( or interest in helping me)
