A motel rather than a hotel, not impressed.

Firstly this was quite a difficult hotel to find and when you have made your way down the very steep and turning drive, you arrive at the reception area. The outside was ill kept, with many dying plants and over grown trees. The welcome was not very good with the receptionist hardly understanding anything we said to him. The first rooms allocated, at the back of the hotel were small and dark. After stating we had booked rooms with a view and balcony he stated that this would cost extra. We did eventually get the rooms we paid for after making sure we had the relevant reservation paperwork from expedia with us. The receptionist was quite abrupt. On inspecting the rooms they were clean until we went onto the balcony where we had one chair (between two of us) and the lovely sight of the air conditioning unit, with water running over the edge onto the balconies below. When we asked for chairs for the balcony, these were obviously taken from the non existant roof terrace or outside cocktail area. The designer toiletaries and bath robes (offered in the hotel description were non existant and if any were used they were not replaced. The lift would only hold three people as long as you had no shopping with you and would only carry cases when you needed to get them to your room. I can not recommend this hotel to anybody who is going to Napels for a holiday. It is very over priced for what is was and would say that it bears more resemblance to a motel rather than a hotel.
