Nce enough, with some downsidesPosted Sep 28, 2015
Pros: the building itself, the furniture
Location: The location is ok, close to a metro station (Dante). As I prefer walking to taking the subway, I found it rather far off from where I was going.
The house in which the apartment is located is very pretty, as is the apartment itself. The furniture is nice, the bathroom seemed to be fairly newly done. The host was friendly and trying to accommodate the guests' needs. For example, I could print my boarding pass, which was nice. Breakfast is simple and sweet, as it usually is in Italy. No surprises there. I understand it's not a hotel and there is no one to clean while you stay there but I had wishes someone would have emptied the garbage at least once... The reason why I personally wouldn't come back is the noise. I had a hard time sleeping at night. My room faced the street and even though I turned in late, the noise from the street (music, people yelling) seemed never-ending. If you're not sensitive to that and don't mind full garbage cans, I'd recommend the place to you without hesitation.

Sehr nette Unterkunft in optimaler Innenstadtlage. Große Zimmer in Richtung eines typischen italienischen Innenhofs. Mehr als nur freundliche Gastgeberin! In dieser Preisklasse kann man sich wirklich nicht mehr wünschen.. Rundum empfehlenswert!

Great B&B in Naples - central locationPosted Aug 8, 2015 on Hotels
Travelling in early August with my family, including 11 & 12 year old kids. We wanted to stay in a central location in Naples, and found this B&B. Everything about our visit was great... Owner Giuliano contacted us before our arrival, ensuring we knew how to get there and how to get in our first day (before we had keys). He checked in daily to ensure we had everything we needed, but otherwise we had privacy and felt like we were staying in someone's home, not a big hotel with hundreds of other guests! We were the only ones staying at this time, so we had the entire apartment to ourselves (kitchen, sitting rooms, etc.) - it was beautiful, clean, and comfortable, with great Wifi which is important to my family! Very important to us is that each of our kids had their own beds - and they loved sleeping in the loft. At first we were put off by the neighborhood - but realized over the next couple days that this is just Naples, and became very comfortable. We ended really enjoying the little shops all around - lots of shopping opportunities close, including amazing fresh fruit and a wide variety of restaurant options. I only wish it had air conditioning - but it was still cooler than Houston and the multiple fans helped a lot. If we ever return to Naples, we will absolutely stay at Il Viaggiatore again!!

The B&B was lovely, the host was very welcoming and breakfast was perfect! The neighborhood was truly Neopaltian, had great food and shopping, close to the harbor, museums, and to the main churches. Would stay again and recommend it to others!

Great location near bustling heart of cityPosted May 14, 2015 on Hotels
Comfortable B&B in spacious apartment. Good location for many sights. Host is very friendly and keen to please. Shared modern kitchen with selection of teas and coffees; juices and milk in fridge. Cereal, pastries and crackerbread laid on for breakfast. When host saw us putting our own fruit on cereal, next morning he provided a selection of fruit for us! Bedrooms are over a club and bar that for two nights had music and talking well into the early hours (though it was an Italian public holiday). Double doors and shutters help keep noise level low.

Wonderful welcome to Naples!Posted May 13, 2013 on Hotels
Very impressed with the grand building in which the B&B is located. The inner courtyard and lovely old elevator are terrific. We had lots of room and a total of 3 beds in the 2-level room with separate, private bathroom. The kitchen/living area is delightful and breakfast in the morning was more than substantial. Everything fresh and in generous quantities. Giuliano, our host was delightful. Sorry we only spent one night. As a note there are also 2 separate double en-suite bedrooms if you require less beds.
