Great location, only 5 mins walk to the station and 20 minutes from the temples / deer park. Room was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The distance from the hotel to public transport was great. The staff were polite and approachable. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. The room and bathroom were spacious and freshened daily.

一泊の予定であったのに、2泊分の金額を請求されておかしいと思っていたら謝って予約していたと後になってわかった。 チェックアウトする際に、もう一泊泊まれると教えてくれればよかった。チェックインの時もおかしいと言ったが何一つ気づいてくれなかった。 少し不親切に感じた。

Good hotel that needs Improvment!
Hotel is very nearby the Sin Yuzaki Station. Overall condition is good. We are having hard time locating the Wifi device. After checking the whole house we found it hiding beside the sofa. Contacting the management is basically non exist. We were told there is a dessert prepared for us in the fridge but we found only a box of miso paste. In Canada we only prepare our food and soup with miso and not sure if this is what the management refer as dessert. I realized I have to prepare our own towel only when we were in Japan. out only choice is to utilize the face towel as regular towel. Over all the view is fantastic. Beds are fine. Onsen in the room is excellent. And also the premise are all lock down and we can’t enjoy the Brady per the description on their site.

The hotel is located literally right outside of the Nara train station, with at least 3 convenience stores in walking distance. The buses to take us to the touristy locations stop at the train station, or they are about half an hour walk away. The breakfast was very well done. The only drawback for us was that there aren't too many choices for dinner near the hotel... but we managed to find a very good restaurant some 10 minutes walk away.

This is the second time my wife stayed here, this is my first. A bit on the older side, rooms were clean but a bit small. Complimentary breakfast was very good, which was included in the price of our room. Two blocks away for the Nara train and bus station. Basically, Nara has become a tourist attraction with the deer park, Tadaiji Temple, Isui-en garden, Naramachi historic homes of old Japan. Great shopping and eating. Found a Maguro, mama papa san restaurant on a side street from the Kintestsu Nara Train Station. What a gem, top grade, melt in your mouth, bluefin tuna sashimi, wow, excellent. I would definitely visit Nara again just for that restaurant.

Excellent value, great location.
Just a couple of minutes from the Station and town generally this was a well located hotel with very good facilities at a great price. The room was compact but not the smallest we stayed in. Comfortable for 2 plus luggage. We only stayed 1 night but were very happy with the hotel. We even had breakfast included (the only time in Japan) which was a good buffet selection of western and Japanese food to suit all palates. Helpful staff on the front desk too.

Hotel has a rule that only one room key can be given per room even though there may be 2 people and keys must be handed in to reception in the morning and cannot be taken out of hotel. They could not explain why this was. They did try to help by allowing us 2 keys but again they had to be given to reception in the morning but not afternoons????? Hotel very convenient for JR station and main shopping street. Room and bed OK. Breakfast average. Free wifi. Thus alright for a couple of nights.

best value for my $$ so far in my travels
The location so close to the station is ideal for JR pass holders. Breakfast was tasty, with both western and Japanese selections. My only comment in that regard is the chicken in the vegetable salad. It would be nice without meat as more people could eat it then (my daughter is vegetarian). The twin room was spacious with space fotr 2 checked bags and feels quite new. The single beds were a good size, comfortable and had mattress covers (not all hotels seem to use them in Japan). The pillows came with instructions in Japanese on how to use them. I found it flat and uncomfortable but my daughter liked it and wanted to buy one. I needed bandaids for blisters and they happily provided me with some. All in all, an excellent choice.

The double room was a nice size. Convenient location about 5mins from the JR Nara station. Staff were friendly and knew limited English but enough to get by. Vending machines, laundry and ice machine on the third floor. Complimentary breakfast was nice too.

Close to station and deer park.
Great soft bed, adequate blankets, little expensive for the area. Walking distance to everything in Nara. Ramen restaurant next door is delicious. Breakfast served at hotel was nice. First time to eat a waffle with chopsticks!! Rice balls, soup, eggs, sausages with ketchup. Standard Japanese fare. Staff was really kind to keep our bags for us until check in.

This hotel is a great budget choice. Although the rooms are small they are well designed and comfortable. The free breakfast is also good and the staff are friendly.

Convenient but not so comfortable hotel
Convenient hotel for short-stays if travelling by train. Pillows are very comfortable. The rooms are very small, even by Japanese standard. The breakfast is terrible: no fresh rice, only onigiri, stale long-conservation pastries, badly scrambled (out of a bottle?) eggs. During breakfast, there is no place to sit and wait for other guests in the lobby as the one seating area is reserved for breakfast.

Interesting Hotel.
The hotel is in a great location near the railway station. Although the room was the smallest we have ever stayed in and there was almost no room for luggage and an incredibly small bathroom with a hip-high bathtub that you had to climb into to take a shower, the staff was friendly and extremely helpful. The breakfast was tasty with many different options. The coffee machine provided good coffee free and it was available in the afternoon and until midnight. Despite the issues of room size we would stay in this hotel again.

Comfort Hotel Nara
The hotel is located just opposite the JR Nara station (which contains a few restaurants and a supermarket if needed) so is very convenient if you're using the JR line to get there. The Kintetsu station is little further away but within walking distance (10-15 minutes or so). Walking distance to Nara park is approx 20 minutes or so. The room itself was compact but very clean and had everything you would need. The Wi-Fi was a little weak in the room we stayed in and it wasn't always possible to pick up the signal at all, but we were on the outer extremity of the building so may have been unlucky in that respect. Staff were friendly and efficient and given the price paid I was very happy with the experience and would stay here again in future.
