Hotel Nikko Nara was very closed to the thr JR Nara Station whivh made it easy for us to go out in about. The staff was very friendly, kind and respectful. The breakfast was amazing!

I have nothing yo say. This hotel is just so bizarre. It has no customer service. I understand the no cancellation policy, which to me means that the reservation is non refundable however they refused to cancel the reservation as a whole. It’s just weird.

I like the hotel location. The room is clean but it needs some update in term of new lighting, and new carpet. The room looks old and has unpleasant smell.

The room was large and comfortable .the Nespresso pods every day were a nice touch along with free coffee in the lobby every morning. Bath house was relaxing and the easy access to the station made this a wonderful stay.The only down side was the lack of laundry facilities for guests as we were told that the laundry room was "under construction". That said , this hotel was excellent value for money in a really convenient location .

A 3-Star hotel with a great location
This is not a 4-star hotel. I would rate it as 3 stars. It is rather aged and offers limited amenities. On the positive, it has a great location right next to the train station. You can catch a local bus right outside to take you to the major sightseeing locations. There are also 3-4 restaurants at the building where the hotel is located

Wish that we had more time to stay at this beautiful, conveniently located gem. Amenities were plentiful, breakfast was good, and staff were friendly and professional. We regret not having time to visit the onsen. (There is a visitor center right next door that offers information and maps in many languages.

The advantage is that the accommodation is close to the train station, and a bus stop that is convenient for traveling to other tourist destinations is also nearby. Location was excellent - 1 min to the train station. Property was slightly dated. Doesn't have laundry facilities in the hotel and had to use a 24hr coin laundry nearby. Room was quite small.

Nikko Nara is super conveniently located next to the train station and is a short walk from Sanjodori and Naramachi. It's an old hotel but well managed, well maintained and comfortable. The hot spring-fed public bath is wonderful and we used it every chance we had. The staff are polite, helpful and welcoming. The hotel breakfast spread is generous and a great way to try different Japanese dishes.
