I was happily surprised with our two night stay at the Hampton Inn. The faculty was located in a parking lot within walking distance to some restaurants and a brewery which my husband and I visited one night. The girl working the front desk was polite and greeted us immediately upon our arrival (around 8:30pm). Check in was easy and quick. The room itself was clean, the beds were comfortable (pillows a bit soft for my liking, but still comfortable). The shower pressure was great and the bathroom was clean. I used the gym one day and was again pleasantly surprised to see a Peloton bike along with two treadmills, another bike, and an elliptical machine. There were also lots of weights. One of the treadmills was out of order, but the gym was overall very nice. I did not get to use the pool, but the pool area looked very nice. The lobby was large with plenty of seating and the free breakfast was delicious. Many options, chocolate and vanilla waffles, omelette, sausage (which was so good) and breakfast potatoes. Lots of other standard options as well. We came to visit URI for a tour and the hotel was within 15 minutes to the school. Close to other beach areas as well and to our new favorite coffee place Java Madness. We will definitely be back to this hotel.
