The room was very comfortable; The shower had 2 rain heads and the bathroom floor was heated, which was very nice. There was a heated outdoor pool, and though I didn't use it, other people seemed to enjoy it. I had dinner in the Chair 5 bar, and the fish and chips were very good. The complementary buffet breakfast was delicious with a good selection. I went to The Break on a whim because I saw a video about it on YouTube, and even though I have a house nearby, I was curious to try it out and take advantage of off-season rates. I'd like too go back again.

Exceptional experience at The Break! By far my favorite hotel that I have ever stayed at. The staff was pleasant, knowledgeable and very caring. The breakfast was scrumptious and the restaurant was wonderful. Our waiter was a sweetheart! The heated pool was enjoyable until you had to get out! The room and balcony were super clean and well decorated; bed was very comfortable. And the Spa! Best message and facial ever! We will definitely make this spot a yearly girls get away! Loved everything! Thank you The Break!

We were there on a very cold quiet winter weekend but we loved it. Actually swam in the heated pool under moonlit skies.. they provided pool towels and robes. We loved the staff... every single person we encountered was so helpful friendly and lovely. The room was perfect... and the price was reasonable and included a nice breakfast. We will be back for another local get away off season.

What a wonderful experience
The Break Hotel is definitely one of my favorite hotels in New England! I love how new and clean the hotel is and how much attention they pay to the details. The afternoon cookie treat was such a nice touch! The breakfast was absolutely amazing too!

Perfect, beautiful and calm!
We came in winter so the town isn’t buzzing like we assume it would be in summer. Hotel is bright, lovely, and inviting. Bed is comfortable, tv is huge, fireplace was a nice touch. The heated outdoor pool was a fun thing, the sauna wasn’t something to be desired. Breakfast was very nice and a great perk to the stay. Wish our room had a bathtub but other than that, literally you can’t complain about anything. The restaurant and bar weren’t open on Monday and Tuesday which was when we came, so we drove to some other towns for dinner, which was great. It took about 40 minutes to get to Newport and do those activities which were 5 stars.
