Convenient to local sightseeing

Posted Sep 30, 2015
nearby freeway, but on main drag to downtown... except impossible to make a left turn across traffic out of main entrance. Use the back exit...would have been helpful if staff had mentioned. Room average. Staff pleasant. Breakfast excellent..

Great location, nice room but very small.

The remodel of the room was very nicely done but bathroom needs to have higher toilets and not nice compared to the sleep area. Compressor on the air conditioner was very noisey.

Cons: All was well and as expected.
Location: Location was right off Interstate 65 and easy to get to. Lots of restaurants near by. Gas stations were also near.
Only spent one night. Arrived late but all was well with booking. Clerk was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Overall great experience.

Absolutely the worst customer service.

Posted Aug 17, 2015
Pros: Front desk employee
Cons: Customer service and hospitality
I have never been treated as poorly as I was treated at the Best Western in Franklin, TN. After arriving late in the evening, I was checked by a very friendly front desk personel but that is where it ended. I rented two rooms. Neither of them were that clean. I did not turn on the tv in one of the rooms but the one we did turn on had service that kept going in and out. In the morning, my family and I went down to enjoy the free continental breakfast. As we are getting into the breakfast room, a cord was put up to block us from entering. We found out the breakfast is closed at 9 am on a Saturday! We got down to the room at 8:55 and were told they were closed as we were already trying to fill our plates. I thought they would rather us fill our plates instead of having to discard the remaining food however this was not the case. The woman working the breakfast room was racing us the entire time trying to put away the food so that we could not feed our children. When we asked for a few pieces of bread she refused and said we are closed. We have been extremely busy and I have another job to go to. I said to her, in my line of business, busy is a good thing. It creates job security. She said well I have to go. She eventually pulled out the bread from a box that was in one of the cabinets. In business that is centered around hospitality, I would think this would not be the way you would want your employees to interact with your guests. I will never recommend.

Old motel style rooms that felt damp

Posted Aug 15, 2015
Pros: The staff was very friendly.
Cons: Just about everything, but I must say that the staff was very nice to us.
Location: The rooms face the street, which is noisy and not secure at all. The place does not feel safe.
Rolled in pretty late. Room was clean, but smelled old. We could see that they were trying to update it. Beds were ok - actually everything was just OK or slightly below.

On my way to Indiana

Posted Jul 30, 2015
Pros: It was very comfortable!
Cons: Make sure the light bulbs are changed in the light fixtures.
Location: There was a Publix with a wonderful deli near by. For breakfast, the Starbucks around the corner was very convenient.
Had a terrific over-night stay at Franklin, Tennessee! The room was perfect. We had coffee to start our day. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable! Will definitely use this motel again!

Most importantly....clean

Posted Jul 29, 2015
Pros: Clean, great breakfast
Cons: Technology
Location: A straight shot down the street to the historic section of town with a good selection of restaurants close. Publix was right behind, Starbucks near!
A nice place to stay.....clean. The only problem was the wi-fi and cable. Poor connectivity made for a grouchy husband. Then, several times the cable reception "froze".....an even more grouchy husband......if cleanliness and a great breakfast are important and technology not so important...than this is a great stay.

Two nights in Franklin, TN

Posted Jul 25, 2015
Pros: Location, pool
Location: Arrington Vineyards is about 10 miles away down highway 96. It is a beautiful vineyard with excellent wines.
This hotel was fine for our 2 night stay in town for a wedding. The location is great, the pool is nice and gets full sun, the breakfast was fine. It is just down the road from Arrington Vineyards which is a highly-recommended place to go while in the area!
