The property is being renovated which it needs. The furniture needs replacing everywhere. The laundry facility was very dirty. The bar, restaurant, and breakfast is very limited. Most of the hotel staff were friendly. The VIP gave a discount at the bar. They have discount coupons for tours which we did use. The room was large, bed old and lumpy. Hopefully it’ll be nicer once the renovation is complete.

I don’t know how on earth this property has such high reviews unless they’re fake. I rarely leave reviews unless I’m very let down, and I also stay at hotels and all sorts plenty. The entire stay was a huge let down. It was clean, yes, but everything else was awful, and I am not a picky person. There were basically zero amenities. One tiny bar of soap for the shower, one tiny bottle of “conditioning shampoo”, and one tiny bottle of watery, putrid lotion. Theres essentially no coffee. They have a weird little keurig style machine in the lobby, and a keurig in the room with the worst coffee I’ve ever had, and I’m usually cool with blah hotel coffee. The staff was bland and not friendly. You’re essentially on your own with this hotel. It’s very outdated and dark, but yes it is under renovations. The bathroom door is a barn door with zero privacy. You can close it, but not really all the way, and it swings open both side to side and front to back. Bathroom was the only nice part of the hotel. This place should be among the cheapest of hotels price wise. I’d never stay here again. I have huge buyers remorse over the $200 I spent to stay here. I could have stayed at a much cheaper hotel and had a way better experience.

Thus is a nice affordable hotel. It’s about a mile from the business area, quiet and well staffed. They were under renovation, there were tidy piles of building materials in the hallways. Convenient to get to and from the airport and activities we planned. I’d recommend and would return to this hotel.

The place was under construction but was clean, smelled nice, and was a good deal. Service was a bit snippy both at check in and check out. Check out was a bit concerning. I don’t think asking for a receipt should be as big of an issue as it was. The last thing I need as I leave is someone trying to tell me I don’t need the thing I actually need. Other than that though it was a nice stay.

Oh where to start with this "hotel". I waited 3 weeks to write my review in hopes that some of the issues would be addressed but the still haven't so here it goes. Check-in was a disaster and the young lady that checked us in was EXTREMELY rude and disrespectful. I was forced to provide a $50 deposit that wasn't disclosed until I was checking in AFTER I had already paid for my room in full weeks prior to my stay. Our room had dirty sheets that we had to change ourselves, cockroaches crawling up the walls and when I took the bugs to the front desk I was told by the staff that there was nothing they could do and they refused to change my room, we had no towels in our room upon check-in and had to ask the rude front desk staff for towels. The hotel was in all kinds of disrepair. There was literally a bathtub sitting in the hallway. When I asked to speak with a manager I was told that management only comes in sometimes and there was no way to contact them until they showed up. I've called several times to speak with management about the issues I had during the stay and have been promised multiple times that they would call me back and I still haven't heard from them. AND the $50 hold still isn't released even though it's been THREE WEEKS since I checked out and was told that it would be released. I wouldn't even recommend this place to my worst enemy and have never had a worse experience in my life. If I could rate zero I would. AVOID THIS PROPERTY AT ALL COSTS!

Dear Katlyn, Your false claims are not even remotely indicative of the normal guest experience at our hotel based on the numerous positive traveler reviews we have. You called and spoke to a manager the day after you checked out to inquire about the 50 hold on your credit card and were told it was released upon check out from our end. You then went on to say you felt disrespected by the lady who checked you in because you were asked to provide a credit card for incidentals, and proceeded to say how awful she was to you during your 5 night stay with us. Upon further investigation after the initial phone call it was discovered that during your 5-night stay you indicated no issues at all to a single hotel staff member or any member of management. We reviewed our video surveillance system as well as spoke with all hotel staff members and were unable to validate any of your claims. You never once asked anyone for new sheets, you never once asked anyone for a set of towels, you never once said anything to anyone about bugs, you never once brought any bugs to anyone at the front desk or to any other staff members for that matter, and you never once asked a staff member for another room. After you spoke to a manager the day after you checked-out, we even had our pest control company come out for an emergency inspection of the room you stayed in. They tore the room apart looking for bugs and found none, along with no evidence of any being in the room. We find it incredibly disheartening and very disappointing that you would go to such drastic lengths to create such false claims in hopes of receiving money back from our hotel. Room was large and spacious. Bed was comfortable. This hotel is undergoing renovation - and it needs it. The property is old, the elevator carpet was filthy. The bathtub had a large rust stain. The furniture was nicked and scraped. No grab bar in the tub, no hook in the bathroom. They advertise a breakfast buffet, but it's only an average hotel breakfast - not much selection. I found this hotel to be overrated on Expedia.

Very unfriendly at check-in. Chelsea was her name. She didn't welcome us nor speak to us at any other time. The man who checked us out was not friendly at either. He seemed put out that I had questions about my bill. This was our third stay at Brentwood Suites. We will not stay here again.

12-15 minutes from downtown and other attractions. The rooms were clean and taking care of by service daily. The hot water was ample and lots of coffee in rooms and lobby. We enjoyed free parking, the 622 Restaurant and pub on site, and the complimentary breakfast served each morning and all for a competitive booking rate.
