Staying in Nashville on way south

Pros: Convenient location for everything we wanted to do. Even had an option of a shuttle service for a small fee.
Cons: The doors to the rooms were very loud. Seemed as though everyone let their door slam and WOW it was loud.
Location: Not far from Opryland and Music Valley Drive. Short drive to the Hermitage.
Great choice of hotels. Comfortable room. Great breakfast. Everything seemed top shelf.

Great location. Downtown transportation

Great location to pretty much everything. We love Nashville and have stayed a few places. This is by far our favorite and will be returning everytime we come back. Beautiful modern rooms and lobby. Excellent staff. Great breakfast. And a van that can you bring you to and from downtown!!

The shuttle worked well for us

Pros: The room was quiet and the breakfast was great!!
Cons: Cleanliness of the room. Shower curtain needed replaced, the ceiling fan didn't"t work so there were the beginning signs of mold
Location: Worked out perfectly
The people that worked at the desk were very helpful and kind. the shuttle drivers were prompt and easy to talk to. The rooms were quiet, we enjoyed our stay.

HORRIBLE DO NOT STAY

Location: Horrible
ABSOLUTELY THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. Ready for this??? Okay I booked this hotel WEEKS in advance. I booked a KING room with a sofa bed. My itinerary even said I had 4 PEOPLE with a KING bed with a SOFA bed. So, I call the day before to make sure everything was good to go. They tell me I have a king room with TWO people. I told her, no....i am looking at my itinerary I have a king room with a sofa bed for FOUR people. She told me they don't even have a king room with a sofa bed and for me to contact expedia but it would be $20 more a night. WHAT. So I get screwed because you guys have a screw up??? NO. So I called expedia and they contacted the manager and the manager said that it would be $20 more a night for a double bed room and they would charge me if i cancelled. That they would not waive my cancellation (WHEN IT WAS THEIR SCREW UP). So I called the manager, same thing she said she was going to charge me for cancellation or i could pay $20 more a night. She was SO rude. So, I got off the phone, and cancelled the card that I had attached to that reservation. So they can shove it! Good luck trying to charge me, HA!

Nice hotel very close to shopping and to downtown

Pros: The convenience of its location, the size of the room, the amenities, the breakfast buffet
Cons: Staff definitely could be improved, the furnishings of the room could be updated
Location: Opry Mills Shopping Mall is nearby and also the Downtown area is less than 10 minutes away where there is lots to see and do
The staff was less than friendly and more concerned with talking on their cell phones than helping guests. The room was very nice featuring a separate bedroom, a living area, a kitchenette, and even a dining room table. I was very pleased. The furnishings are outdated but that didn't bother me in the least. I was just thankful to have a nice comfortable bed to sleep in and having the kitchenette was really convenient. The hotel was extremely loud due to construction and painting going on at the time of our stay. Also, the other guests were very loud all night long. The breakfast buffet was delicious and we enjoyed that very much. I also liked that I could come downstairs for hot cocoa or coffee at night and it was available in the lobby.

Good value

Enjoy the breakfast,its in a good location. On the down side both of us got sick after 2 days. Think it was possibly from due to prior guests who had our room.

Not what we expected

Pros: The friendliness of the hotel staff
Cons: Needs painting, new carpet, and updating....
Viewing the pictures online it looks like a really nice hotel. Looks are deceiving. The carpets are old and dusty throughout the hotel. We had to walk the whole building to find the 1 elevator it had. Got to my room and it was just OLD looking. The fixtures on the wall were loose, the vents were smashed in and it took the lights a minute to come on after flipping the switch. The light in the bathroom wouldnt come on at all so we were given a new one. Got to the new room and the stopper in the tub didnt work. The lady at the front desk, bless her heart, was so nice but it was late and I had to get my 5 year old to bed so i just gave her a shower. I was expecting nice but got Bates Motel instead.

Nice accommodations, near restaurants, & shopping.

Stayed here several times, and will be staying again in the future. Shopping malls, restaurants, and live entertainment are near.
