Good location in mid-town, shuttle to downtown is great but expect to wait for a return trip and it ends at 10:45.

Front Desk Agents Unfriendly

Pros: The location, cleanliness and amenities. The shuttle staff was amazing. They were totally different than the 1st desk agents.
Cons: The staff was very cold and tired looking. They didn't greet me I had to speak and ask.

Would stay here again!

Great location walking distance to many eateries and bars. Friendly staff, rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. The Bistro had delicious food and the staff was friendly and went out of their way taking care of you.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. However, one elevators was broken and the only other one was incredibly slow moving and on its last leg (extremely slow,certain buttons didn't work and the panel was coming apart). I heard people saying they missed the shuttle a couple of times because it took so long waiting for the elevator. Don't waste your money on the food they serve at the hotel. You're much better off going to one of the restaurants up the block. The convenience of the shuttle and the nearby restaurants made it worth the stay here.

Convenient to many Nashville attractions

Pros: Location, and staff.
Cons: It was difficult to regulate the temperature in our room and it had a slight musty smell. The $30/night to valet was steep and only option.
Staff is great! The young woman who checked us in remembered me from 3 hours earlier when I hoped to get an early check-in. She was very customer focused and helpful. Jackson, the shuttle driver was outstanding. He was quick to get you where you wanted to go and to pick you up when you were ready. I don't think he sleeps because he was on duty every time we used the shuttle in our 3 day stay. The hotel is clean and safe. Never had a concern about the neighborhood. Overall a good place to stay.

Nashville Business Trip

Cons: I'd always like lower rates, as would anyone.
Location: See above.
I get to Nashville often, though this was my first stay at the West End Hotel. The location was perfect for easy access to meeting locations, great restaurants, and the downtown music scene. Hotel staff (particularly the person who checked me in and the valet attendants) were great. I'm heading back to Nashville soon and will stay here again.

Plumbing leak and had to move rooms

Pros: quiet location closer to Vanderbilt
Cons: hours of the lounge.
Location: There are numerous "hole in the wall bars, cafe's, clubs, restaraunts, etc all within walking distance. We ended up spending more time near the Hotel
and they were so professional and accommodating. I moved rooms and they were very thankful and apologetic that I had to be disturbed but in my mind it wasn't an inconvenience at all.

One mile from downtown

Hotel offers a free shuttle to and from town. Nice rooftop pool great place to chill and get ready for the day

OK hotel the view sucked

The rooms not what I expected for the price. The view was not good at all. Would've been better if had a poolside room.
