Pros: Proximity to work and I40.
Cons: All is old and could be updated. For the price, ok though.
Location: Near downtown, Grand Ole Opry; Argosy University. Food, gas, restaurants, groceries.
Stayed for a week and half. Great location to my work. I felt safe in the area to take a nightly walk. Good conveniences around....gas, grocery, pizza, subway, Cracker Barrel. It is what you are paying for. Clean pool, laundry (old), clean sheets and towels daily. Good access to I-40 and many business within 5-6 miles. Enjoyed my stay and will return.

The breakfast needs to improve. Pls we had to teach them how to make fresh coffee. Most of them don't eat a full breakfast at least a decent coffee with real creamers would be helpful.

good hotel near airport

In Nashville for a week. Flight scheduled to land 12:05am. Car rental closes at 12:30, reopened at 5:00. So i didn't reserve our "Real" hotel that first day. Figured if car rental open would just use Hotel.com's last minute app. If rental closed or flight late would just stay in airport for 4 or so hours. Turns out rental was still open. used Hotel.com's last minute app to get this hotel. Got room at around 1:30. Buzzed the entry door and attendant came to the desk within seconds. Slept till around 10:00 next morning and checked out. Didn't really get a feel for the hotel. It seemed clean, room was clean. Not noisy. Didn't use the breakfast (slept through the open hours). Saw the outdoor pool, didn't use it. Looked ok though. Hotel and area seemed pretty safe. Real close to airport. Didn't notice any excessive noise.

There was a beer bottle and a hair product top sittinging in my room from where the had not been clean from the previous tenants.

Great if you love the smell of pot

Upon arrival to the room, it reeked overwhelmingly of marijuana. We went down and asked at reception if there was another room available. There wasn't and the receptionist gave us some air freshener spray to try. I'm pretty sure the people in the room next door were smoking weed at the time, because even our attempts to air out the room did not help the smell at all. There was no way we could have slept if we'd stayed there, so we called around until we had found a room in another hotel. The night employee (night, May 27) was sympathetic, but was unable to find us another room or help us get a refund. She told us to come back by the next day and talk to "Nick" the manager for a refund. We made an extra trip back to the hotel the next morning to talk to him, and he was unbelievably unhelpful. He told us that it had already been refunded (total lie) and that they were not obligated to give us a refund anyway because we chose to leave after checking in. So we called hotels.com, and they negotiated with Nick for a bit and I think he was obstinate with them as well, because hotels.com came back to me and essentially said that they couldn't get anywhere with him so they would just give me a "one time exception" refund from their end. Yay for hotels.com for characteristically great customer service. Boo for econolodge Nashville airport for nonexistent customer service, for lying to your customers, and for hiring people who can't communicate with customers.

Very Nice Motel - Comfortable, Affordable

Pros: Quiet, close to home, comfortable beds, friendly staff
Cons: Keep the breakfast area well stocked for the entire time breakfast is being served
Location: It's close to I-40 and downtown Nashville. There's a rack in the lobby full of brochures of things to do locally.
We had to book a local hotel due to the air conditioning being out at our house. The reviews were pretty good so I thought I would take a chance and book it. We were pleasantly surprised -- the staff was very friendly and helpful. We arrived late and the check in clerk offered us juice and muffins if we wanted some. Our room was quiet and the beds were super comfortable and soft. There was a large flat screen TV and a mini fridge and microwave. For being somewhat close to the main road, I was surprised how quiet it was. The breakfast was a little scarce, but we got there about a half hour before it closed, so I'm guessing there was more earlier in the morning. I would recommend this motel and if we ever had to stay locally again, I would definitely return here.

Comfortable bed, lousy hotel.

Not good. Holes in the sheets, used washcloth hanging in shower. Blood stain on floor. Shut down breakfast before 9am finish time.
