Property is in a very upscale area, so it’s safe and clean. But the building is pretty old and needs updating. It’s only 2- maybe 3 floors but no elevator. It’s a studio with kitchenette but had no dishes or silverware. The bed was very comfortable and shower was updated and nice.
I asked for a late checkout but could only get an extension of 30 minutes. I decided to extend my stay and was told to book online, which I did. I took a long nap and was awakened about 2 hours later with management and housekeeping pounding on my door. They insisted that I show them my reso immediately or they would call the police. It was a very aggressive way to wake up. As I used the bathroom with 2 employees standing guard with my door unlatched, I looked for the reservation. I felt so pressured and attacked and unable to even use the bathroom peacefully, so I pleaded with them to be patient as I went through booking process. I assumed I didnt hit complete on site. My email didn’t have a reso so I quckly booked and told them through the door that I had completed it. They left to check their system when I realized It was under a different name to an email address I don’t typically use. Had I been given time to look, I could have explained and not purchased another night I didn’t need and couldn’t really afford. Since I had two reservations for the same night, they at least approved one transferred to a different date, although I had to call third party instead of simply putting a note in their
