* Had to call from my phone in the lobby to get someone to acknowledge my presence on check-in. * They put me in a room on a hall undergoing renovation - complete with paint fumes. * The refrigerator was dirty, musty and not even plugged in. * They lied about the length of my stay when contacted by Expedia regarding the 3 of 4 nights I didn't stay because it was so awful.

Lovely hotel!

Our stay was amazing! The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was very clean and spacious. The hotel was situated in the perfect area for all you'd want to see and do in Nashville! Only a short drive or bus ride from Downtown Nashville in one direction and then only a few miles from the Bluebird Cafe and Nashville Zoo in the other! The area has quite a lot going on but still felt quiet and very safe! The complimentary breakfast was good too, just what you need to start the day!

Switched rooms due to lack of cleanliness

Got to room was very dusty with items left from previous occupants; baby bottle nipple in drawer, hair pin and cig ashes on window sill. My friend brought this to the general managers attention and she (Ty) was very apologetic and disappointed in the temp staffing they had been using. She personally cleaned a different room for us, which was much appreciated. The hotel itself seems a little run down but they were doing updates during our stay in April 2017.

Under construction nothing works

We had to try 3 different rooms in 1 night stay. Our first room the a/c did not work. Second room couldn't take a shower the water only had one temperature which was burning hot. Tried a third room for a new shower and that water was also terribly hot where I couldn't even keep my hand in the water. Staff was absolutely amazing. I would never stay at one of these again.

Close to the fun!

10 minute drive to downdown - Broadway St.,Nissan Stadium,Bridgestone Arena, museums,restaurants,bars,etc. Easy access to highway that leads to Opryland.

Ok, as far as location.

Pros: Large rooms.
Cons: Breakfast! And the guy at the desk could speak up so people can hear him!
Location: Lots of eating places close by.
Overall the hotel was okay but having to ask for dishes, cups & silverware was a little over the top. They could have been already in the rooms. The breakfast left a lot to be desired. I had to ask for a coffee maker, cups & coffee. There was no coffee in the lobby. There was a choice muffins or/& oatmeal & hot water! Rooms were clean but very limited number of stations.

Chepa Hotel.

Cons: Breakfast is way too simple.
Just a very basic hotel. Would not stay there again. Breakfast has only a few bars and instant oat meal. not fruits of any kind.

Less for More

This is the third time I have stayed in this hotel in the last 3-4 years, and this time it was awful I realize its a basic hotel, and have stayed at many Extended Stays, but this one is not even that old and its smelly, dirty and run down....they wouldn't even change my bed sheets when I requested (unless I wanted to pay for the service)because they say they have limited cleaning staff and its a self serve hotel...Staff were unprofessional, that is when you could find them and the first night my Fridge defrosted all over the floor and I had to clean it up Never would stay here again...terrible experience

Falls short in so many areas

Pros: Location is convenient to Vanderbilt University right on major street.
Cold, no blanket, thin walls and floors made for a noisy night. Breakfast is a few instant oatmeal selections, granola bar, coffee and little else. Very short list of channels available.
