Nice hotel close to Franklin

The staff was friendly. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. The food was all great quality and fresh. The location was good. Close to restaurants and Franklin.

Pros: Updated interior
Cons: Thicker walls
Everything was great about my stay except for the thin walls. I could hear word for word what the people staying in the next room were saying. It was awkward but other than that it was a great stay.

Check in was late and staff was rude

I called ahead of time for an early check in and was told there would be no problem with that. When we arrived they said they were behind and only 1 person was working the desk and there were 15+ people in line. There were 3 open computers that weren't being used. Normal check in was at 4pm, well that came and went. There were 30+ people sitting around the lobby all waiting to be checked in. Finally at 4:40pm we were able to get our room keys. After 8 hours in the car I was not happy. Then they charged me $6 for a cup of milk to give my toddler before bed. It didn't even fill half his sippy cup. What a joke. Last time we stayed here they're was construction going on all night and we got very little sleep. For $235 a night for a standard king room I expect a hell of a lot more. We will NEVER stay here again.

I called the hotel that morning to confirm an early check in (3pm instead of 4pm) and was assured that we would have no problem . We arrived at the hotel at 3:01pm and was told that we would be put on a waiting list for check in. I explained that we had called ahead of time and the front desk young lady very rudely told me that early check in was not a guarantee. ,The front desk staff should be able to handle any situation in a professional and courteous manner, if they cannot, then they are the wrong person to greet the customer-they are your first impression. I would have rated this hotel at the highest level had your front staff been a little friendlier.
