Very nice hotel

Pros: It was clean and the rooms were very spacious
Cons: The carpets could be cleaned more often
Location: The Franklin Civil War tour is a very interesting thing to do
We originally booked a different hotel in the Nashville area and it was awful. We cancelled that reservation and were able to get into the Homewood Suites for the remainder of our stay. The hotel was clean and easy to get to. While we didn't need it, we appreciated that the suite had a full kitchen and the separate living room area. This would be a great place for someone who is traveling with family and wants to save a little money by cooking "at home" so to speak. The beds were a little harder than I prefer, I'm spoiled by my bed at home, but it was comfortable enough for the short stay we had.

The room was very comfortable. Loved the French doors into the bedroom. Wished there were more trash cans.

Last minute booking, still expect better for price

We booked last minute. The bathroom fan was was tired to the lightswitch and was the noisiest fan around. Air-conditioning was noisy. Bedding for pull out couch was damp. Yuck. Tub was dirty, looked like sand... Nowhere near a beach though. Breakfast was excellent however. Almost in all I won't stay again at that price.

The hotel was only ok. It needs attention to details. It felt fine but that they were satisfied with ok. Nicely decorated but the finishing touches felt missing...I had high expectations but didn't feel they were met.

Morgan at the front desk was superb. Not only very kind and helpful to us but we saw her handle a challenging patron very diplomatically.
