Definitely not a 4.5 star hotel!

Parking fees were astronomic, $30 per day. On check in it was required to charge an additional $100 per day for "incidentals" to our debit card; they reassured us that at the end of our stay the money would be credited back to our checking account, but it could take up to a week. For us this was $600. We told the clerk that we did not plan on using any of the "incidentals" available to us and he smirked, and said, "Yeah, that's what we all say." Our room was dubbed a King suite, but in reality the room was barely larger than a regular room, but they put up a wall on one side of the bed and put a couch by the door and called it a suite. The carpet was not tacked down at the edges where it met the walls, so there were unsightly loose threads everywhere and it appeared the carpet was pulling up at the edges. There were ants crawling all over the bathroom floor. There was no microwave, refrigerator, balcony, or pool. (Although these amenities were not mentioned on their website, we would assume that for their room rate, they would be offered.) We ordered room service our first night there; I asked for a hamburger and a garden salad with ranch dressing. My husband ordered a personal pizza. My hamburger's bun was so soggy I had to use a fork, and the salad was already dressed with Caesar dressing, but they put ranch dressing on the side with it. Pizza was the size of a bagel and it was from a box. We left after the 2 night minimum they charged us. Couldn't leave fast enough.
