Mundane convention hotel

We booked a suite and were allocated room 411. The living room could hardly have been called a room - it was tiny and there was a large metal rubbish bin in the center of the room. The carpets need to be replaced. The windows looked out on a high rise parking lot. The turndown service consisted of a single tiny bottle of water and a single chocolate to be shared between 2 people. The gym was not regularly serviced so there were dirty towels lying around. Avoid

Modern hotel- close to many excellent restaurants

Staff is flawless- lovely, modern hotel. We had a suite and it was a little cramped, other than that I have nothing but good things to say about the Hutton. Close to the excellent and very expensive Kayne Prime and also the cheap but equally excellent Hattie B

Great guy at the front desk - he was very helpful and gave good recommendations. Attached 2808 lounge was convenient. Suite was very cosy. Bathroom is looking a little worn.

Pros: They have a shuttle for guests to use within a certain distance. Everyone was very nice, & the rooms were fantastic!
Location: If you don't want to wait for the hotel shuttle then it is a very short Uber ride to downtown! Very good location!
The hotel went beyond our expectations! The staff had left a bottle of wine for us to enjoy on our stay, the rooms were extremely clean, and the front desk answered any questions we had. I would definitely stay here again in the future!

Definitely not a 4.5 star hotel!

Parking fees were astronomic, $30 per day. On check in it was required to charge an additional $100 per day for "incidentals" to our debit card; they reassured us that at the end of our stay the money would be credited back to our checking account, but it could take up to a week. For us this was $600. We told the clerk that we did not plan on using any of the "incidentals" available to us and he smirked, and said, "Yeah, that's what we all say." Our room was dubbed a King suite, but in reality the room was barely larger than a regular room, but they put up a wall on one side of the bed and put a couch by the door and called it a suite. The carpet was not tacked down at the edges where it met the walls, so there were unsightly loose threads everywhere and it appeared the carpet was pulling up at the edges. There were ants crawling all over the bathroom floor. There was no microwave, refrigerator, balcony, or pool. (Although these amenities were not mentioned on their website, we would assume that for their room rate, they would be offered.) We ordered room service our first night there; I asked for a hamburger and a garden salad with ranch dressing. My husband ordered a personal pizza. My hamburger's bun was so soggy I had to use a fork, and the salad was already dressed with Caesar dressing, but they put ranch dressing on the side with it. Pizza was the size of a bagel and it was from a box. We left after the 2 night minimum they charged us. Couldn't leave fast enough.

The hotel is very nice, particularly the lobby and other common facilities. The workout area and equipment available were very impressive. Rooms are beautiful and the size was adequate, but not spacious.

Pros: Staff, look, price.
Location: Location was great. Of course, the hotel is closer to some areas of interest than others.
Enjoyed staying at the Hutton, staff was excellent, shuttle service was very convenient.

Not our "cup of tea" Preferred a chain motel stay.

Pros: Sitting area being separate from bedroom was nice but we didn't need. I also liked the closet in there for more clothes or winter coats when needed.
Cons: Better wifi hook-up and no plastic toilet seat/lid in bathroom. Inside the shower controls.
Location: We had tour bus shuttle scheduled and they picked us up right near street to go to Grand Old Opry. Music row was too far for me to walk.
We were pleased with the quick and courteous service by valet service when we checked in. We were surprised at the small lobby but liked the polite and quick check in and it was nice to sit down since I have back problems. The clerk made sure we weren't on a pet floor because of husband's allergies. The bell hop was pleasant and we had pleasant conversation up to the room.
