Fair hotel nice view of the park

The entire experience was not worth the price we paid. The staff took 15-20 minutes to find our reservation. I took 10 minutes and a line of 4 people before someone came and helped her. The duvet comforter was very noisy and sounded like a tarp. We paid extra for concierge and didn't see any benefit to it. Also paid extra for breakfast and we were handed a breakfast ticket the prior night and the next morning we ate breakfast without anyone asking for our ticket. Other guest were also coming down and eating and leaving without turning anything in. Whole situation made it seem like we were taken advantage of.

Nice hotel on Vanderbilt's campus

Pros: Rooms were great; everything was clean and seemed new, and the staff was awesome!
Location: Located on Vanderbilt's campus - 2 miles from downtown and plenty of places to walk to. The free shuttle service was very convenient as well!
The staff was great at the hotel for the duration of my stay. The concierge, Ben was very friendly and welcoming immediately upon my arrival, and the staff was very kind every day. It was fun to be in town for the SEC Tournament, and the staff was very accommodating; the GM even came out to ensure that I was comfortable to watch a game after I had already checked out.

Outstanding staff

Pros: Very attractive and comfortable, and well-located. The front desk staff is outstanding and makes sure visitors are happy.
Cons: Removal of carpets in renovated rooms means sound travels more, especially at quiet times of day/night.
Location: Adjacent to Vanderbilt University and convenient to other locations.
Wonderful hotel - attractive, well-designed, comfortable and well-located (adjacent to Vanderbilt University.) The staff is excellent and the front desk staff is outstanding - welcoming and very helpful. Rooms recently have been updated with more workspace, modern bathrooms, etc. (One caveat: no carpet in renovated rooms, so sound seems to travel a bit more.) Overall a great place to stay.
