Fairly nice but needing a serious lifting

I was given a room for handicapped guests because hotel was booked. Had I known I would have looked for another property.

We appreciate your feedback and want to apologize for the situation. Unfortunately, on nights when we are sold out, every room on the property must be used, including accessible rooms. I want to encourage you to call ahead next time and let them know you feel strongly about not staying in an accessible room. Our goal is to ensure each person has an memorable experience and we will do our best to accommodate your desires. Until next time, safe travels! Regards, Guest Services

Nice hotel, terrible restaurant

Posted Apr 10, 2016
Pros: The front desk personnel we welcoming, cheerful and helpful. We felt like they were also very helpful. The bed was comfortable ad the location of th
Cons: The food service and retraining of waist staff. My husband and I rarely complain but felt the waitresses could have dressed more professionally
We spent three nights at the hotel for pleasure. The first morning we came to eat at the first floor restaurant. The waitress was borderline rude. I ordered eggs bacon breakfast. My husband did the same. Our meal came cold. When we mentioned it to her she said it comes from upstairs, what can I do. Then she must have felt bad so she offered to bring some potatoes from buffet, luke warm. We skipped eating there again until the last day of our stay. Same waitress. I ordered an omelet and asked what came with it. She said potatoes. I asked if it came with toast, muffin, or.. She said I could get some for four dollars. I asked why an eg breakfast doesn't come with bread, her response was I don't write the menu. Everyone disappeared. I needed some butter and ot jelly and ketchup. Got up to find som. Another waitress came overbred some butter packets on the table and grudgingly got me jelly. A very poorly run restaurant.

Thank you for your feedback. We are glad to hear you enjoyed your interaction with the front desk staff, our facilities and unique location. Our goal is to provide each guest with a memorable experience and unfortunately we have come short of your goal with your dining experience. I have shared your feedback about the service at the restaurant with the management team, especially the restaurant managers. I understand your frustration with the atypical service you received. Management is addressing this with the restaurant team to ensure this isolated incident is corrected moving forward. We hope to have an opportunity to better your experience the next time your travels bring you to Nashville. Safe Travels! Regards, Guest Services

Great hotel but expensive

Posted Mar 28, 2016 on Hotels
We were in town for a track meet so we wanted a place close to campus. The hotel was in a perfect location for that but also within a short walk to several great restaurant areas. However, considering the amenities one gets at lower priced hotels, this hotel is really expensive.
