Perfect Hotel for Vandy Game

Perfect Hotel for a Vandy game. Walk out the back door of the hotel and into the stadium. Staff was great. Close to downtown.

Mattress and pillows were terrible

Typical Marriott except the mattress, blankets and pillows were beyond terrible.

Convenient to Stadium

Location: We were only there for one night so we didn't get around town much. There seemed to be plenty to choose from near there.
We stayed here because an event we were attending was held at the stadium. The hotel staff was excellent. The staff in the restaurant/bar was excellent. Always helpful and attentive without being overbearing. We ate the breakfast buffet and loved it. They had several food choices to satisfy most anyone's appetite. We watched the football game with some friends and the bar staff was more than accommodating. The room was clean and inviting. The only problem we really had was that the toilet would not flush correctly. Sometimes it wouldn't flush at all and other times it was very slow and the handle had to be held to finish the process. I would recommend staying here.

Staff was very nice and the lobby was beautiful; however the rooms can do with a little updating. Overall I was pleased.

Pros: Location, staff, comfort
Cons: Terrible odor outside by back door leading to garage.
Location: Convenient to Vanderbilt, restaurants, Centennial Park. Great view of Parthenon.
Great staff--friendly, helpful. Immediate attention. Property is upscale, clean. Great location.

Nice hotel, great location, friendly staff

We had a minor problem with the toilet. We called to have them fixit while we went out to dinner, but no one came to fix it. I mentioned it to the front desk when I checked out and they comped us our valet. Left feeling great about our experience

Nashville Vanderbilt experience

Hotel room and hotel were nice. Bed was comfortable, and staff was great. However, I think it is ridiculous to pay almost $40 a night on parking, given the location of the hotel (not downtown). Additionally, do not waste your money on the coffee shop in the hotel. Apparently, two coffees, two muffins, and a water is $25. There is a reason prices are not posted. There is a Starbucks nearby.
