A decent stay.

I've had issues in the past with the quality of Quality Inns. At this Quality Inn, I was satisfied. Location is right across from Titans stadium and close to downtown. There is a shuttle that will drop you off at First and Broadway. This is just the right spot as you can then walk around downtown and there is PLENTY to do downtown. Make sure you let the front desk you want to catch the shuttle in advance, as the wait can be several minutes. I waited about fifteen minutes.
Reception took longer than I expected. The fella checking me in seemed to be doing a lot of moving around and talking, but it took about ten minutes to get checked in. Also, be prepared to have your license plate number (for your car) handy at check-in because they are going to ask for it as you need it for the parking pass that you'll need to hang in your window so your car doesn't get towed. Overall, check-in was good. The fella doing the checking in was upbeat and personable.
Hotel was clean. My room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Could not get the AC to cool the room enough, but that may just be me. There was considerable road noise that could be heard in my room. I suggest earplugs. The décor of the room was fine, but everything seemed so dark--again, this could just be me, my preference.
Oh, I almost forgot--there is a guitar shaped pool. Neat. If you don't take a dip, it's at least worth snapping a photo.
I suggest this Quality Inn as a place to stay for the non-fussy traveler.
