The hotel is in a really great location and the decor is pretty nice. Bed slept ok, nothing remarkable. The bathroom was nice and had a cool vibe. It was also nice and clean. Seems to be a pretty recent update. Now for the not so stellar. The walls are PAPER THIN. Had to move to a new room before the porter removed the bags from the cart in the hall. You could hear everything the neighbors were arguing about. Just like they were in the room with us. We settled into our new room and all was quiet... for the first day. Anyone walking down the hall or in the next room is audibly clear. No privacy. I only assume that everyone could hear us too. The loudness of the neighbors doors closing is crazy, especially in the middle of the night. I know I am at a hotel and i should expect a little interaction with the others in the hotel. This was just way more than in other hotels. Maid service was less than stellar. We found ourselves finding the maids cart and picking up the things they had forgotten... coffee, towels, clean glasses. The pool would likely be good in the winter as it is inside. The outside area is a little prison like. No view, just tall brown walls with no way to see over. No breeze opportunity either. Only stayed there for about an hour. Room service food was pretty good. 6 out of 10 They forgot the napkins and silverware (actually plastic and paper napkins, cheap) and had to wait for them to bring them while our food was getting cold. Think take out food. Not great.
