Pros: Clean nice bAr and atmosphere
Cons: Service of front desk
They charged us for a room even though we nhad already paid Expedia. Booked a room with king size bed and paid more and got a double. Front desk said sorry but since we booked with expedi they weren't liable for what our reservations said. Room was not ready at check in time.

Sheraton - Downtown NashvillePosted Sep 28, 2015
Cons: The cleanliness of the rooms, and easier check-in.
We chose this hotel because we were coming to town for a concert, and wanted something close to the venue. We paid a lot for our room, so were looking forward to a really nice room and hotel. When we first arrived, the valet service was quick. The hotel lobby is nice, and looks like it was updated not too long ago. There weren't a lot of employees at check-in, so there was a wait, as it was a busy day. I think they could have had more than two people working, when there were six other people waiting to check in. When we got to our room, which was only on the third floor (even though we paid almost $400 a night for our room), it was nice, but cramped. It was a bit dusty, and the bathroom was really small and the shower curtain had mold on the bottom edge of it. My husband said the pool was okay, but we didn't try the café because it was only open in the morning, which was disappointing. The worst part of our visit was the noise from the lobby that carried up into our room. There was a wedding there, and some of the guests were at the bar off the lobby, and it was really noisy until well after midnight. Overall, it was nice, but we probably won't stay there again. I feel like for the price, we could do a little better in downtown Nashville.

Close to the ArenaPosted Sep 28, 2015
Pros: location and hospitality
Cons: Noise level. The open lobby, which is beautiful, echos horribly. Our room overlooked the lobby and you could hear everything.
Location: The music strip, the arena, capital building, etc.
The hotel staff is wonderful. We arrived early. The room was not quite ready. They offered to take our bags and suggested a nice coffee shop for lunch. They called me when the room was ready which still before the required time. The room was spacious and clean.

Once again, a great stay. I had to wait a bit longer for my room to be ready versus other stays, however, it was a very crowded weekend. Because it was so crowded, there was a bit of a struggle leaving on Sunday as the elevators were filled to the brim each time it reached our lower level floor. The rooms are adorable and the beds are comfortable, and the walk to downtown can't be beat. Will continue to stay here if the price is correct.

Great location, only 10 or 15 min. from downtown.Posted Sep 14, 2015
Great experience, would recommend Nashville to friends. Flights were good with the exception of delay on return flight from North Carolina. There was no fridge in the room which would have been nice to keep water, pop etc. cool. Overall it was a great trip.

The hotel was great. Wonderful location and comfort. I had a little issue with the people at check in as they could not accommodate switch rooms for us. Its a complicated situation but apparently it was impossible to switch room numbers on their computer and we had to swtich rooms

Modern hotel...lacking in some areas of servicePosted Sep 7, 2015
The front desk staff and the bar staff were nice and helpful. The room was great and comfy. The bathroom was small. The proximity to downtown was great, within walking distance. Parking was $30 a day and there was a $10 daily facilities fee. We only had a couple of issues, but it was enough that we will stay somewhere else next time. We put the breakfast in bed card on the door before 2am per instructions on the card and it was not picked up so we did not receive breakfast. The manger we spoke to said he would comp breakfast the next day and unfortunately that breakfast never arrived either. We left our room at 8:30 am for the day, we returned at 4:30 pm and the room had not been cleaned. We told the same manager about this and asked for towels and for the room to be cleaned at 5:45 pm when we were planning to leave for our night plans. I had to call back 30 minutes later and ask for towels again. When the housekeeper arrived at 5:45 pm I told her it would be a few more minutes because we waited so long for towels. That is when she informed me it was almost time for her to get off. Our room was "tidied" up when we returned later but had not really been cleaned. We almost missed the riverboat that we had purchased tickets for due to the wait for the towels. It was very frustrating. We were very disappointed at the service we received for the price of the room. It only takes one bad experience to make a lasting impression.

Outstanding PropertyPosted Aug 31, 2015
Cons: Everything was great
Location: very convienient to activities.
This was one of the very best Hotels I have stayed in. The property is modern and beautifully decorated. All the staff we encountered were courteous, professional and extremely helpful. Great amenities such as free wifi and free shuttle service to surrounding points of interest, restaurants, etc. I have been in 5 star properties that did not give you anything extra for free, so I was very impressed. Although the hotel itself was absolutely breathtaking, the most amazing thing about this property are the beds. OMG!!!! IT WAS LIKE SLEEPING ON A CLOUD. I am also a travel professional so Starwood Properties will become my #1 referral. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

Great room and view but...Posted Aug 11, 2015
Pros: The decor and room.
Cons: Room service, prices, hidden fees.
Location: Downtown, close to eateries. Mortons is right behind the hotel. A few blocks away are tons of restaurants and bars. The library is behind the hotel.
The room is nicely remodeled. A wonderful, comfortable bed was supplied with excellent linens. Our view of downtown Nashville could not have been better. The shuttle drove us to our plans in the city. Everyone was professional and courteous. Overall, the room and stay were amazing. The reason for the "but...", we got back to the hotel late and needed dinner so we opted for room service, understanding it was pricey, but we were trusting and hopeful. The room lacked a microwave, a refrigerator, and we never saw any means to get a snack other than to order in or go out. The food came and was hot but not cooked as described (example: "roasted" chicken came baked.) and all were very small portions. Alas, we were lucky we ordered dessert because that ended up being enough food and we retired. For 130 dollar room service, I expected Much, Much more. Also, it was never mentioned that you would pay an additional 29 dollars to park your car at the hotel, nice little hidden fee for an already expensive hotel.
