Pleasantly Suprised

Check-in was a breeze and the staff was super nice. Our room was modernly updated, spacious, and very comfortable. Everything was cleanly. This is a Super 8 so you can't expect 5 star, so there were some minor paint chips and such but nothing that impacted our stay. They are frugal with the towels and toiletries. The bed was very comfy and we like the amenities such as fridge and microwave. The TV selection was also great. We did not partake in the complimentary breakfast, so I cannot comment on that. My only "meh" moment was when I realized that they had a lot of unoccupied rooms, but chose to put us right next to 3 other families. We would have preferred to be further away from the sounds, but it wasn't that bad.

EXCELLENT HOTEL

Location: Upscale dining, fast food dining, interstate access, Parthenon, Belle Mead Mansion, Belmont Mansion, Cheekwood Plantation and Gardens
Aside from the ugly color of the exterior, the room and bed was wonderful. The staff was wonderful. The check in/out was wonderful. The location was very convenient to the interstate, great places to dine (both dine in restaurants and fast food joints), shopping on down the road (Target, grocery, etc.). The location was convenient to getting downtown, if one wanted to go downtown; however, it was also convenient to historical sites. The room had great lighting. Although the exterior color and the price might give the impression of a low budget hotel, I would rate this one as being a 5 star hotel. It provides absolutely everything that one needs for lodging - including comfort.

GREAT STAY

Pros: Friendly staff, ease in checking in/out, room cleanliness, comfort of bed (new condition), good lighting inside the room.
Cons: the ugly mustard yellow color on the exterior.
Location: Great location with easy access to everywhere in town, great restaurants nearby.
The exterior color is very ugly, but my room was clean and modernly furnished. Excellent bed to sleep on. Good lighting in the room. Staff was very friendly. Check in/out went smoothly. This was my first experience with Super 8 Motel, but I definitely will stay there again.

The room is what you would expect from a Super 8. Nothing spectacular. The walls are paper thin so any noise, from an adjoining room or someone outside, you are able to hear.

West Nashville

Pros: New granite bathroom counter, sink and faucet.
Cons: Looked like they updated the rooms and the decors. Now get rid of the yellow color on the building.
Location: The only nice hotel west of Nashville
Don't let the outside facade fool you. We were pleasantly surprised when we opened the door to our room. The decor was nice, granite bathroom counter, nice and modern sink and faucet, new floor and carpet. The room was nice and clean.

Clean place in West Nashville

Stayed 6 nights. Very basic room, but clean, good air conditioning, equipped with refrigerator and microwave oven - nice. Free breakfast - no eggs or bacon, but does have sausage gravy and biscuits. No pool. It served my purposes perfectly, which was to enjoy the eclipse and then tour Nashville's many attractions. By the way, this hotel is a stone's throw from the highway and maybe .5 miles from shopping and many restaurants.

Older hotel which has been remodeled. Reviews and rating spot on. I will give the staff kudos for delivering our accessible room and accommodating us very well.we have no complaints.
