Dirty hotel, terrible food

Nice hotel for business trip

The rooms were very clean and comfortable, the shuttle service to and from downtown Nashville was great.

A satisfying room for business trip

Pros: Room condition is great.
Cons: The elevator has a rusty smell.
Location: Good access to Nashville downtown. Good to have a gas station right in front of the hotel.
I spent three nights in Alexis and it was satisfactory for business trip: nice pillow and bed condition, fair-balanced breakfast, good location to Nashville downtown. Room is 4-star but the elevator smell is below 3-star. Overall impression and experience is great for business trip.

They put me in handicap room instead of regular King sz rm. not sure why .. The shower was filthy and had rusted spots..I only stayed 1 night instead of 2..the breakfast was terrible too. it definitely wasnt worth the price

Good value - great location

Pros: Location, value and room set up for working.
Cons: Upgrade fitness room
Location: 8 minutes from Opryland, Opry Mills, etc.
As a business traveler, location and room work function is important. This hotel has that and more.

The hotel was mediocre, about what you should expect for the price. The room was small but clean, and hotel/front desk staff were attentive.

Nice hotel, easy access to main highways.

Pros: Staff and the room.
Cons: Breakfast. Very basic.
Location: Close to main highways, Opryland, Opry Mills, Grand Ole Opry, Airport and businesses.
Staff was very helpful and polite. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was okay but not outstanding.

Poor safety procedures

Pros: close to airport
First of all the breakfast food was not that good. Poor selection . The coffee was out of a machine and tasted like hot chocolate. not impressed. Did not offer fruit or yogurt. Secondly, the fire alarm went off at 2 am on Saturday evening. As we all were scrabbling to the lobby the person behind the desk said frankly, " Its a false alarm and we are trying to turn off the alarm." That's all that was said. No apology.or direction of what we should do or where to stand. People were going back to their rooms before the fire department arrived and cleared the building. We felt this was VERY POOR safety procedures. Nothing was said the next morning either. We will not stay here again.
