I'm not going to try to convince you to not stay here, just extremely lower your expectations. Don't let the pictures fool you....this is NOT a hotel....it is a motel that wants to be a hotel. Look a little closer at the pictures. First off, check in took FOREVER!! You can either park on the street or use their valet service ($32 ). I was told that I would get a text message about my vehicle and how to request it....that never happened. One elevator for customers. Took a long time to get to our room. The rooms were just remodeled motel rooms. The bed was hard and squeaky. Very small tub/shower combo. When we went to check out, the valet service didn't have a key card to the parking garage where they took my truck, so we had to wait. I paid $307 for our one night room....it should have been more like $125. It was in a great location from Broadway, but was just felt deceived from the pictures and name. Would I stay there again...NO. I did not talk to management. With the wait times to check in and out, I didn't want to waste anymore time there. I'm not mad, just disappointed.

While the rooms are clean, comfortable beds and updated very nicely, be aware that they are extremely small. It is very uncomfortable to have more than two people in these rooms.

Room were slightly renovated, beds & bedding, towels old & worn. Room very small, more motel type rather than hotel type. Shower good pressure. Morning free breakfast not great powdered eggs, fake sausages and bacon. Getting to the room after a day spent downtown was a thigh master workout, very uphill walk home ! Would not recommend staying there, that being said staff very friendly.

Closest distance to walk to downtown you had to take an Uber everywhere else really no restaurants close by for dining . The staff was very friendly. The free breakfast was good.

Our room was clean and remodeled. Hotel was a combination of exterior access and interior access to some rooms. I liked location as it was very walkable to down town area venues. I didn’t like the parking as nearby lots were expensive so we did the valet parking at hotel. Also one staff member answered our questions but didn’t offer a lot of info.

Our first contact "Angel" at the front desk was a breathe of fresh air. She deserves 10 stars. The valet staff were very respectful and responsive. It may not be the Ritz but, they treat you like it was. No complaints here, I would come back for sure.

The staff were all friendly and helpful. My room was clean abd comfortable and I walked everywhere I needed to go. My bathroom door didn't latch closed but it wasn't an issue since I was in a room by myself. Would book again!

The property is situated very near Broadway where all the action is and the Bridgestone Centre. Very walkable All the staff that I dealt with were all very nice and very polite and friendly. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The included hot breakfast also very good.

The hotel was not as advertised by Expedia. We had extra fees to pay when we got there and it specifically said parking was included and we were charged upon arrival for parking. The door did not close properly and was easy to break into. The area surrounding this hotel felt very unsafe and the hotel staff was very short with us when checking in. Staff was also unprofessional with the way they greeted us and checked us in.

Everything was great expect for when I returned my rental car and discovered that “I” had driven 491 miles!! Pretty sure the valet guys took my rental for a spin! I literally drove from the airport to the hotel, to Walmart and back to the hotel. I was in Nashville for 48 hrs. At the absolute high end I may have driven 100 miles and that’s being generous. Where’d the other 391 miles go?

The hotel was in a great location, 3 blocks away from broadway but there was a nice hill to climb going back to it. Wish the hotel was cleaner and the staff was more friendly. Asked prior to going if they could hold our bags on check out day until the afternoon and was told yes. On the day of checkout the front desk staff was nasty and rude and asked where we'd like them to be held. Personally will not be staying here again.

The Capital Hotel was OK at best. Very nice staff even though I got some misinformation. A minimum of 12 hours there was no hot water, tile we would get our parking refunded - but we weren’t parked at hotel so no adjustments of any kind to what we paid. It was a decent room, very loud sliding bathroom door and noisy in general from outdoors, guess it would be best to not stay at a hotel with outside entrance doors.

Felt like it was more of a motel than a hotel. Elevators were in the parking lot and didn’t feel safe using them with children. Front lobby checkin was in a convenient store and the front desk receptionist was not friendly at all. Rooms smelled musty and after 2 hours of being there left to find a different hotel. Told the front desk of our situation hoping to get a partial refund but was denied . I DO NOT suggest this hotel/motel, unless you are absolutely desperate. Reached out to Expedia to see if they could help, they reached out to the hotel and they themselves found the front desk associate rather rude. Says a lot about this venue .

Thank you for your response and for staying. Your description of the property is inaccurate. Keep in mind that once you reserve (anywhere), there are policies unfortunately that can not be changed based on " just feelings". We do appreciate platforms but we also understand, that statements/postings can be embellished when people are emotional. Have a good day and if there's another opportunity to serve you, hopefully it will be a better experience.
