Everyone goes to Nashville for the music, but I go for the photography. It's a beautiful city, and it has a wonderful skyline. Most folks shoot it from up on the Shelby St Bridge - which is a great view - but I recommend crossing over the river and getting down on the banks, where you can get this view. It's hard to beat during an amazing sunset! From http://nomadicpursuits.com/top-photo-spots-in-nashville/ Cool hot dog stand ! I was going to try one but.... My ulcer talked me out of it . This 19th century Heavy-stone Richardsonian-Romanesque design railroad station opened in 1900 and for more than 75 years served the passenger operations of eight railroads providing passenger service to Nashville. As the popularity of train travel declined, the station fell into disrepair and was closed in 1979. It officially opened as a hotel in 1986, but was not profitable. A new investor group bought the hotel out of bankruptcy and it was re-dedicated on October 9, 2007 after an $11 million dollar renovation.
