This home was large enough for our family to have their own rooms and it has 2 full bathrooms, which beats a hotel. The drive to Nashville was about 20 minutes most days. 2 of the 3 downstairs beds were comfortable. The house has a loft with more beds; we did not use this area. Bed linens and towels were provided, clean but some were stained. Air conditioning was great! The kitchen was nice and well-equipped (except for no kitchen linens, few glasses and spoons), but we couldn't figure out the dishwasher so I just washed by hand. Large table to dine at, and an outdoor table as well. We enjoyed having a washer and dryer available. The living area has a couch that isn't very comfortable to lounge in, and there are 2 other chairs. Our family spent very little time in there since it wasn't a cozy place to hang out. A new sectional couch would improve this part of the home tremendously!

Family Vacation
The house was comfortable and plenty of room for 5 people. The outdoor patio was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the nice weather. The neighborhood was quiet and relaxing. We like that it is far enough away from Nashville, but still close enough to be a short drive to downtown. I would say the only negative was the living room couch. It didn't have the legs and sat directly on the floor and is in desperate need of being replaced. Overall I would recommend this home for a relaxing vacation.

Not at all what we expected
We had to wash bedding. Some dishes were not clean in cabinets. Outside grill charcoal and was not cleaned. Looked like there was a bachelor party there. No one ever came by to check on us. Still waiting for deposit refund after 2 weeks. Sofa has no legs almost like sitting on floor.

Dirty dishes and sheets, racoons in attic!
Online Listing included "Chef's Kitchen", yet, there were no kitchen basics: pot holders, kitchen towels, measuring cups, cookie sheets, or food containers, and there were only 3 forks in the silverware drawer for the entire home! EVERYTHING I pulled from the cupboards had to be washed before use, i.e. lipstick on coffee mugs, plates with stuck on food, burned food in saucepans. The placemats had food smudges, and the sheets on a bed were dirty w/hairs in them, All had to be laundered before use. No quilts or bedspreads on beds as in pictures. (we found these later in the attic with the racoons!) Outside, the handrail post broke off in my hand- thankfully no one was needing the handrails to navigate the uneven and nonstandard front steps. Lightbulbs burned out in the chandelier. Several dead spiders in another light fixture. Fireplace flue stuck open. Fireplace was full of ashes. 3 burned out candles decorated the hearth. The Foosball table was broken and unusable. The outlets were loose, and our chargers wouldn't stay plugged in. This was especially exciting when CPAP machine stopped in the night! FINAL STRAW: heard animals in ceiling - discovered 3 full-size racoons in attic! VRBO customer service required photo proof - ridiculous and dangerous! NEVER AGAIN! The listed claimed this had been renovated, but I saw no evidence of any upgrades. and the final straw: everyday, we heard critters on the roof..... One day this noise was coming from above the ceilin in

Very nice, clean and peaceful
The property was nice, clean and convenient. The only complaint was the living room furniture was very uncomfortable. And some windows need shades or curtains. Beds were comfortable which is a must. Neighborhood was very quite and peaceful. Overall, I would rent this place again. The host was very open with communication and met our needs with some very serious issues came came up.

Lovely backyard
House shows it's age but was a delightful place for a long weekend with my sister and dad. We spent lots of time relaxing on the back deck enjoying the birds and squirrels. Location provides easy access to downtown and surrounding areas. We would stay again if returning to the area.
