Reed hotel building is getting outdated, electrical sockets popping out of walls, found bugs and hair in room, Mandara Spa at Atlantis was terrible. Staff was generally very nice and helpful though!

The Reef is ideally set up for families with a kitchenette and both a tub and shower in the bathroom. However some things did not function well or consistently. The bathroom plumbing was sketchy, the electric circuits would trip and the wifi bounced several times an hour. Note that the Reef is at the far end of Atlantis from the Aquaventure, but it is walkable.

Good infrastructure and nice beaches but terrible service all over, overpriced reheated food and restaurants; 2/3 of the time they charge you for items you didn't order, so you have to review all bills carefully. Workers always with attitude, like their hate their job and customers are the onces to blame.

Great property…biggest issue is seating capacity around the pools…you need to get out early to get seating…the cruise rush overwhelms the capacity quickly. Also..be prepared to wait for food and drink…a standard 5 minute Starbucks visit can take 30 minutes or more.

Spring Break was quickly approaching. We had promised our daughter to take he somewhere warm with blue water beaches. Having been to the Bahamas before, it was her first choice. I immediately thought of the Atlantis. I had visited the Coral Hotel back in the early 2000s and had heard the Atlantis was a great place to unwind, with a lot of activities for kids. After some research we were pleasantly surprised on how the Atlantis had to offer. We arrived on a Sunday, got on our shuttle to the resort and felt the warm breeze of relaxation fill our lungs. The Atlantis makes it easy to fill a week with adventure, private beaches, pools, rentable cabanas, and some genuinely wonderfully kind people. We loved our playtime with the dolphins, our Dolphin Trainer was named MJ, she made it so much fun. Our daughter and her friend became regulars at Teen Crush a club for teens, They made new friends and had a great time. While they were teen clubbing, my wife and I slipped into the Casino and WON!!! The shopping in the Straw Market is AMAZING!!! The swim up bar at the Coral was fun. We stayed at the Reef, which is perfect for kids. The sacred rock garden was so memorable and photographable. Our concierge Tiffany couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful. She even helped get us a dinner res. Which, during Spring break isn't easy. We def. suggest making reservations before hand. Getting downtown by taxi was also a breeze. The Straw Market in town is the real Bahama deal... *********

There is no service at the Atlantis because gratuity/tips and a Vat tax is literally built into every single thing that you buy at the resort. Even takeout cost you much more than the food and beverage itself because of the gratuity and tax since they automatically make you pay these additional charges and tips their staff has enormous attitudes, there is no customer service and unless you’re prepared to pay them more in tips. You will never get any service at this hotel. It cost so much to go to Atlantis and once you get there don’t expect any service unless you’re prepared to spend more to get some. Seating at the beach and the pool is extremely limited. There are no lounge chairs unless once again, you have to pay the beach staff, or the pool staff to set up for you and give you chairs. You will not be able to get into a restaurant unless you’ve made reservations 2 to 3 months in advance. Overall the experience was not pleasant and I will never go back and I don’t recommend that anybody stay at the Atlantis you will be looked only if you pay!

Having stayed twice pre-COVID at The Cove, we found our return to Atlantis disappointing. The service and grounds were not up to a premium level. Staff were borderline rude. The grounds were not as clean and things like the public washrooms were dirty with taps broken, etc. Its really gone downhill relative to our previous stays. Kids had a great time on the waterslides (where staff was not always present to check height requirements!!) but we won't be back. It's a premium price for an average experience.

Mostly did not have cold water in our room for showers or from sinks. Staff were mostly on their phones, not incredibly friendly or helpful. Facility was very nice, clean, and kid friendly. Rooms were nice and big. I would definitely go back with my kids despite the downfalls.

Beautiful beach. Excellent staff and service. A little removed from the crowds but close enough to walk through the amazing resort to get to dining, shopping, the casino, and other attractions.

No hot water from 7pm to 7am one of our nights, with no compensation or even apology. Made for a rough night where our baby caught a cold. Not many healthy lunch food options for young children, either. Otherwise, it was great.

This vacation got off to a very rocky start. I appreciated the transient area; this was convenient when we arrived earlier than check in time and were able to change and get out to explore. However, when we were given a room we were not told there was not any hot water. When we called to report it with only a few hours to shower and get ready for dinner, we were told someone would be by to check within an hour. An hour went by, no one. So we called again. At that time we were told it was wide spread and engineers were working on the issue. We communicated the needs of our family (this included a 4 year old) and honestly hot water should not be considered above and beyond. After many calls to the front desk, Craig, the manager called back and gave me an attitude as if we were the problem. It was uncomfortable and did not meet the expectations of an expensive resort. We were given another room after 10:00pm, again, unacceptable. As paying guests of the resort we should have been proactively notified of the issue, not lied to several times when we called to report the problem and lack of resolution.

Overall we had a great stay at the Atlantis. The property was very clean, food was mostly great, and outside of a few grumpy staff members, everyone was really nice. We did have an issue at check in where our room took almost 3 hours to be ready. The concierge that checked us in was not very warm and seemed like we were bothering her. However, other staff did a great job getting us in just in time for us to make our dinner reservations and did give us a credit for the inconvenience. Again, we had a great experience overall and look forward to coming back

Had to check Atlantis off our bucket list - just to satisfy our curiousty. Perfect combo of beach and water activities. Waterslides were the highlights for the kids and the Dilly Club for the adults. The relaxing vacation we wanted. Staff extremely friendly. The added service charge to everything plus asking for additional gratuity was the only downside on top of high food and drink prices.

VERY VERY VERY BAD TRIP!!!! The Atlantis property is beyond overpriced. It’s over crowded to the point that a family of 4 can’t make dinner reservations during a 6 day trip. We ate pizza & Starbucks for 2 days until we left the property. late check out would’ve cost $165 per hour. Lines everywhere….
