Nice hotel / location

Posted Aug 12, 2017
Fantastic rooms and personal attention. Silvia, the manager, explains everything in detail. Tells you were you are, were to visit, and takes 15-20 minutes of her time to show you around the block! In Rome transportation is a major problem. So you have to walk a lot. This is in the center of everything!

Very sad to leave!

Posted Jul 25, 2017
What a wonderful place!! We were met by the lovely Jatta, one of the three concierges, who had provided prosecco on ice for us in our room due to a mix-up with the airport transfer (we arranged by e-mail but the message hadn't got through). She made us feel really welcome and was so helpful and the prosecco was such a lovely gesture. We stayed in the Borromini room which I think is the smallest room available but perfectly adequate for a couple. The room is beautiful with a little balcony overlooking a courtyard. Amongst the useful amenities were air conditioning (essential in July), a Nespresso machine, free tea, coffee and water, a little fridge, a hairdryer, an iron and ironing board, toiletries and plenty of clean towels. There is a also a shared kitchen with the adjoining room and this included a water butt so fresh water was always available. The bed was really comfortable and the room was lovely and quiet. The bed was made everyday and the room was spotless! Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff, including another concierge, Anne, who we met briefly. The suites are accessed through some huge wooden doors into inner courtyards so it was lovely to step in out of the noise and the heat of the street. We didn't have breakfast but preferred instead to take the short walk to one of the best coffee shops "in the world", Tazze D'Oro, near to the Pantheon. This was a recommendation in the room's guest book and did not disappoint. The coffee was so good and we b

Great B&B close to Piazza Navona.

Posted Jul 5, 2017
I would absolutely recommend this B&B, especially to families who need many beds. We had a 2 rooms with 3 queen beds and 2 bathrooms. It is very quaint with a great Roman feel. It is tucked behind two large wooden doors - you don't even notice it from the street. Breakfast is at two different cafes across the street. At night the street is filled with cafes that spill on to the road - great atmosphere. And it's only two blocks to Piazza Navona. I would definitely stay there again.

Sylvia was very helpful and walked us around the immediate area pointing out good places to eat and even introduced us to several merchants. Location is awesome! Immediate area has everything you need including a grocery store, restaurants, gelato shops, bookstores, etc. Even though there was a lot of activity on the street, the courtyard and room were very quiet. We were very pleased with our choice.

Absolutely a must stay if visiting Roma. Perfect location to all sites. A beautiful property and secluded off the street, so very quite from all action out on the streets. Living like a local

Posted May 4, 2017
Pros: Location, view, Roman columns still visible within the walls of the suite. Rustic, coffee machine included, mini kitchen with full fridge, etc.
Cons: Not much - if you are looking for a B&B, this is a wonderful choice!
Location: See above - Silvia can even give you a map with all the best sights highlighted. Buy tours weeks ahead if you want to see the Vatican or Colosseum!!!
Novona Gallery & Garden Suites is excellent - centrally located with all historical sites within a 30-40 minute walk (the Pantheon is only 5 minutes away, the Vatican only 20, for example). There is a beautiful hidden courtyard you enter your suite from, and our hostess, Silvia, was wonderful! She even gave us a short tour around the suites to get us oriented and recommended some nearby local dining spots (listen to Silvia!). In addition, I highly recommend you book any transfer services to/from the Suites through Navona Gallery - it makes getting to/from there much easier, especially if you need to arrive later than the normal Gallery hours. Don't be shocked if your driver drops you off in the middle of a busy street in front of a giant locked wooden door! :-) That is the entryway to the courtyard which is typically locked. The Gallery entrance is right around the corner and is open during normal hours. If you are arriving late (pre-arranged with Silvia) she will meet you at the door to let you in. Don't Panic!

Spacious hotel in convenient location

Posted May 2, 2017
We had a great experience at this hotel. The rooms are spacious, the hotel staff is very helpful, and it's located within walking distance to many of Rome's most popular sites. We will definitely stay here again.
