The property sits right on the beach and is a walkable distance to the boardwalk with shops/restaurants. The standard rooms are dated and not modern at all. I was unhappy with the bed arrangement. My husband and I had to sleep on two twin beds pushed together; with separate bedding that kept moving apart. Not “romantic at all”. The convenience and friendly staff made up for the subpar rooms.

The standard rooms are the simpler rooms, coming either with twin or double beds. Upon request and when it is possible we provide the requested type of beds. Nice quiet great location about a 10 minute walk along the beach boardwalk into downtown Naxos. Nice poolside area, short 2 to 3 mins walk to the beach. Friendly staff.

Property is in a fabulous location with a fabulous pool. Easy walk to both beach and restaurants and cafes. Property itself has greatly potential however, it’s in need of general maintenance both grounds and buildings, it’s understaffed, food is average at best and buffet breakfast was ordinary with food running out by 9am and not being replenished. General commodities like coffee and milk in room was absent. 4 stars for this hotel is a stretch. If you can overlook shortcomings, and just want a greater location with a greatly pool, then this hotel should be considered.

This was a nice little hotel. We stayed for 4 nights and found it a very convenient place to stay as it the beach, restaurants, and Naxos town are easily walkable. The hotel provides a decent breakfast spread and the bartenders are generous with their pours for cocktails. The property itself is in a minor state of disrepair with some fixtures broken or missing, but overall a pleasant and convenient place to stay.

Great hotel!
This was the perfect hotel for our stay. The location is great, you can just take a very pleasant 10 minute walk to town on the beach. Sunset views!! The front desk staff was very nice. Our room was beautiful with a big terrace. Air conditioning worked great! We loved Naxos and we will most likely stay here again when we return.

The hotel is situated in an excellent position within easy access of the beach and town. The bedroom we stayed in had recently been refurbished. There are a few areas for improvements which have greatly increased my score. There were no chiller cabinets in the breakfast room and food left uncovered on the table buffet style. The food option was fine if covered and refrigerated. The outside area would have benefited from better upkeep and maintenance.

The property is beautiful and a good proximity to the beach, restaurants, shopping and the town, while still being quiet and quaint. The only negative is the window in the shower; it is head level and was open when we checked in... Unfortunately my husband ended up with a 2 inch gash on his head from the corner of the open window.

The suites are lovely, fairly spacious, the patio attached to the room is a lovely space to enjoy. The breakfast is very nice, the staff very helpful, assisted us in renting a car and helped to provide us where to drive to get a good tour of the island. Very clean, would definitely recommend and stay again.

ALL GREAT—staff, accommodations, location, food.
I can’t say enough about how friendly the staff was during our stay, from the front desk to the bar and restaurant. Everyone made us feel right at home during our three night stay. The location cannot be best. One day we went to Plaka beach, and since we did not rent a car, the front desk arranged our taxi to take us there and back. LOVED this place. The breakfast spread was astonishing, and the dinner fare delightful.

The Honeymoom Suite was not the best
First time in Naxos and I didn’t know which hotel or area to book so I booked 2 nights at what was at the time a pricey hotel for off season. I booked the Honeymoon Suite because generally those are the best if not one of the best rooms in the hotel. All this room had was a round bed. Other rooms we noticed had nicer balconies, nicer patio furniture and I have to say our sheets felt like the plastic sheets you put on a toddler bed when night training. I booked this room because of the huge tub in the pictures and brought lots of bath salts for romantic evenings and they didn’t supply a stopper for the tub saying Naxos doesn’t have water. The young kid at the front desk was no help at all either. I understand it’s at the end of the season but customer service is still important and mowing the lawn is still needed. This hotel needs some major upkeep. We ended up leaving after our two days at $200CAD/night and booking at an amazing hotel down the road for $54CAD/night that was far superior, better breakfast, nicer room and balcony and full use of the fitness room and spa room with steam room, hot tub, sauna and 24hr reception and amazing staff. Lesson learned that honeymoon suite doesn’t always mean the best in certain places!

Location is great, close to everything but nice and quiet on the end of St George beach. Staff are very helpful. Only reason I didn’t give it a five star is because the bedding needs improvement.

I’d love to share my experience in this amazing place that I started to call a little piece of heaven since the arrival. The staff, every single one of them makes sure you are comfortable, happy, satisfied with each request, they Went above and beyond to provide us the best during our staying. The chef Giorgios is amazing, he makes sure you fill out a paper with your request for breakfast and it’s served beautifully. Our holiday at Alkyoni was absolutely perfect. Our room was spacious for this family of three people. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and with a nice variety. I'm still dreaming of that sweet watermelon. The location of the hotel was ideal as well. Just a few steps away from the beach and an easy 15 minute walk to town. Great hotel choice
Everything about the hotel was excellent. Check-in was extremely easy and fast. We were walked to our room and given an introduction. Our room was small but adequate for a couple. The pool was refreshing and the pool bar was a great touch and very convenient for relaxing. The hotel is only several feet from the beach which is amazing and their are several restaurants if you don’t want to travel far. The town can be accessed with a short 5 min walk.

Cute place set back off the beach a little bit. At the end of the strip of restaurants& hotels so its quiet. Breakfast was really good! The room was so clean with spacious shower & room! Really enjoyed our stay

We had a very nice time at this hotel. It was very close to the beach, could easily walk to town or the bus stop, the staff was very nice and helpful. Our favorite thing was the Greek dinner and live music on Saturday night. We went to sleep listening to the wonderful Greek music. The hotel needs to finish renovating. Only some rooms have been updated.

Lovely hotel on the outskirts of town but right on the beach with a wonderful pool and gardens. This hotel is within walking distance to town within 15 mins if you walk on the beach.

The hotel was in a good location 2 minute walk to the beach and to the boardwalk with many cafes. The pool was the best part, very large and beautiful temperature and very clean, plus small section for young children. There were plenty of chairs and lounge chairs however few umbrellas. Other guests often reserved their lounges early in the morning to reserve the entire day, even if they left the pool area for several hours. That was a bit impolite and frustrating. The room was quaint, neat and spacious however the bathroom had a sewage odor they were not able to fix. Breakfast was good and plentiful with options for complimentary cups cappuccino and fresh ok from the bar. We enjoyed our stay and hopefully the bathroom issue was only in our room.
