"We (me, husband and 10 yr old) stayed for 3 days for my husband's birthday. This little rental was perfect! It was clean and welcoming. There were extra amenities like snacks, toiletries and other items we've normally always brought ourselves to rentals. You were within walking distance of 2 restaurant, a coffee shop/book store and a few other kitche shops. It was a great location to stay!"

"We have stayed at Appel Valley Villas a couple times now. Even though the space is small, there’s everything you need. We did notice that the comforter needed to be washed and there were extra pillows but no pillow cases, otherwise no real issues. We will be coming back to visit soon."

The amenities included at Rumbling Bald (which was so close) were fantastic, our kids loves the beach and the pool and lazy river. We will be back!"

"The room smelled a little musty. There was a hole in the bathroom wall by the shower. The outdoor patio furniture could probably be updated but other than that - for the price you pay and what all is included i would highly encourage anyone to stay here and will definitely be coming back again!"

"My husband & I stayed here for a weekend getaway. Everything was well described about the unit, amenities, dining, & surrounding areas as it actually is. Super clean, quiet, well decorated, & well equipped unit everything you could need during your stay, including amenity passes & extra phone charging cords, as well as a notebook & books about things to do while in the area. We also had some awesome experiences with wildlife during our stay! Next time we’re in the area, we plan to rent this...

"We've been to Rumbling Bald before so no real 'surprises'. This trip we had a massage, played some tennis, rented a pontoon boat and played pool, at Legends. Cons: wifi is spotty everywhere, twisty/winding roads and limited food choices. The patio furniture was a little worn, there were a few crumbs on the floor upon arrival, and the bed was not comfortable (to us) Pros: Victory Cafe, The Lake House. The views are spectacular and Rumbling Bald has something for everyone. The condo is perfect...

"This is the third time we've stayed at this charming cabin with our dog. The location is great, a walk to Chimney Rock and a short drive to Asheville. The stone steps would not be good for someone unsure of their footing. The cabin is well laid out so it feels roomy and always spotlessly clean. There are two ample screened porches, front and back, so pup has a lot of room to roam around. Definitely recommend."
