Pros: Food, beach
Cons: Better wifi
Location: Take a walk down the beach
Thank you couples swept away employees for another wonderful stay. The food at the restaurants is awesome and very plentiful. We had an ocean verandah room and it was great. The room was kept clean, and our mini bar stayed stocked throughout our stay. the beach is beautiful, and spacious. i can't think of a bad thing to say about the resort, but remember while you are there everything moves on Jamaica time!

Tennis makes Couples Swept Away the place for us.

This is the 6th year in a row we have visited Swept Away. While we could match the beautiful location, good food, clean and attractive accommodations at many Caribbean resorts the reason we keep coming back is we love tennis and Swept Away has the best all inclusive tennis program in the Caribbean. Included in the one price are free lessons daily plus a visiting pro who runs a clinic every morning and round robin in the evening. They have 10 courts, some lighted. Another plus is quality entertainment every evening. One thing it's not is a five star resort, you'll find relatively minor things where they have cut corners or quality that save money. WiFi capacity doesn't meet demand, they should have 2 snorkeling trips in the morning to meet demand and several other money saving items that might annoy you. But in the end it's our spot in the sun during the cold winter.

Pros: Restaurants, food, drink, sandy beaches, crystal blue water, guided snorkeling, kayaking, catamaran ride, gym, tennis, lap-pool, Friday Jamaican party
Cons: Nothing!
Location: There are SO many things to do in Negril. Stop by the Tour desk to sign-up for activities, and ventures. Ricks Café, Jimmy Buffett Margaritaville, etc
My husband and I chose this resort to celebrate our 50th birthdays, and we cannot wait to return! We wanted an all-inclusive, with no children. We were immediately greeted upon arrival, easy check-in. The room was very clean and up-to-date, A/C worked wonderful, but we hardly stayed in the room. The restaurants were very nice, food and drinks galore. Clean, sandy beaches for miles, crystal clear blue water. We did the snorkeling, which was guided, fed the fish with bread, held a starfish. We also took the catamaran ride, anchored, and allowed us to swim in the caves, colored crabs and snails covered the walls. A bunch of us took the bus to Ricks Café; had a blast, beautiful scenery. As fitness guru's, we were really impressed with the gym facility, very clean, a lot of weights. Friday night is their Jamaican beach party, food galore, very impressive! Most of all, the staff needs to be recognized for an outstanding, job well done. Everyone from the lobby staff, to housekeeping, to restaurant staff, bartenders, and water-activity staff. We will miss Orlando, Alecea, Natasha, Romaine, Jeffett, Marjo, Lexon, Judy, your kindness will be memorable, Donovan at the gym, Ralston, for helping us across the street to the gym everyday, Keisha, Kevon, and Julian, for a great snorkeling experience, and Nord for making sure we got on that Catamaran. I know I am forgetting some folks, but truly we can't wait to return. Thanks for a great week and a memorable birthday!

Pros: Everything
We return to this resort every year. Beside the beauty of the resort and the beach, the staff are wonderful. The guests are great and very friendly. A large number are repeaters so we see them yearly. The atmosphere is like an extended family reunion.

Pros: The rooms were nicely laid out and very clean. our room was close to everything, beach, restaurant, etc.
Cons: rooms need a bit more lightings. Also I had to get up by 7:30 every morning and run out to the beach to secure a beach lounge chair. they needed more
Location: There was plenty of free things to do. Locations was very nice.
The room was fine but it need better lighting. The bathroom need more light in the shower and vanity areas. The bedroom lighting made it very hard to read or get dressed as there were very flew lights and room was dark.

We've been here many times and it continues to be a fantastic place. Amazing food, amazing beach, friendly staff, great sports complex. It has dropped a little in quality over last few years (e.g. spotty wifi, staff no longer bend over backwards for you) but it's still amazing.

Vacation 2017

Pros: The food, most of the staff and, bars and scenery.
Cons: The activities and things to do during the day and night. The club was not really up to date as far as music etc.
Location: The excursions outside are nice but expensive and the locals will harass you constantly.
The only thing I would say is there was not enough activities going on during the day and night, or available times for activities on the water. Our room was a bit noisy, as it was very close to the main road especially at night. There was construction going on in some of the hot tubs which was a bit distracting as well.Everything else, including drinks, food and scenery was very nice.
