“Hotel was 1960s. No air conditioning, bad lumpy pillows, LOUD road noise, few outlets, tiny shower, limited counter space, small closet w 4 hangers, bed covers were not comfy. Breakfast was good but an additional 15 Euros per person. Location about 1/3 mile outside of town. Nice Mosel views but impossible to sleep and bathroom was tiny, shower was too small, towels were thin... bad experience!!”

“Very nice, family run hotel. The included breakfast was really good and provided a great start to our day in Cochem. I forgot a small power adapter upon check-out and the owners were fantastic helping me get it back the next morning. Even offered another charger in its place before it was located. It's always a pleasant surprise when the communication with a hotel is so easy and direct. Would highly recommend Hotel Zehnthof.”

“I instantly felt very comfortable in our room. It was clean and well maintained with plenty of room to move around. The bar and restaurant areas were pleasantly decorated, and the staff were friendly and helpful at all times. The breakfast was of the highest quality, the best that I have ever had in a hotel. Definitely try the fried eggs and the very fresh tasting nuts and dried fruit with the muesli.”

“The hosts were friendly, especially the gentleman who was often around during breakfast. The room was nicely decorated and had a lovely view. However, it lacked some basic amenities that would have made the stay more comfortable, such as a kettle. The blankets in the wardrobe were dirty, as was the rug next to the bed. “Its in a beautiful area, on the Mosel. In a residential street, with parking for about 12 cars near the hotel. (We had to park 10 min walk away in another property's garden) A tad expensive for what it is, but you do get a good breakfast, and access to the pool which is a bonus. The property looks like its been recently modernised, however i was surprised to find there was no AC in the room and the most useless TV remote i have ever encountered.”

"The hotel is 15mins walk from train station but at the center of the altstadt. It has a small staircase at the front door, but it has elevator inside so very convenient overall. Basically you can go everywhere you need within 5-15mins walk. It actually has a sauna you can use once you reserve with the hotel staff. German style breakfast was nice. View from the window is 100% excellent if you are located on the high floors. No air-con though only fans in the room in summer."
