We stayed here to experience the Rail Explorers Elk River tour, which makes the hotel’s location convenient if one is coming from Ohio.
The beds were comfortable! The hallway carpets and furniture were all banged up or stained. The guests seemed a little rowdy the night we stayed, including an incessant yapping dog.
If you turn the AC blower on though it drowns out the other noise.
Breakfast that was included was substantial and the area was quite clean, organized and the attendant was keeping up with everything!
Overall it was a fine stay, but if you’re picky about room and hallway cleanliness this probably isn’t for you.

The TV channels and reception were terrible. All analog. There were lower channels that looked like they were working off a set of Tin Foil antennas. Really need to fix this.
