“Loved my stay at this little cabin in the woods. The host was awesome and made sure I had everything I needed including some fire starter for the fire pit, firewood, a case of water, and coffee! Great place to take an easy walk through the woods and just enjoy some fresh air and down time. I was in the area for a concert and this is just 10 minutes from Athens University, yet felt so remote and secluded. Horses, chickens, and the friendliest dogs all made this even more awesome. “Excellent visit overall. A little trouble locating the cabin. The stay was beginning of spring so there wasn’t much to block some of the road noise but I’m sure it only gets better as the trees fill in. The seclusion was excellent, the fire pit setup was outstanding. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. If I had to ding something, it would be the steps up to the bedroom. A little tricky with minimal light. Overall, I’d return again”
