A hotel in Irish style

Posted Sep 8, 2016
Pros: The location benefits from nearness to beautiful and impressive Loch Derg complemented by the surrounding attractions of the Silvermine Mountains
Location: There are plenty of Pubs/food venues with very easy access to the local town (Nenagh)
An excellent hotel staffed by experienced and helpful people who gave the impression that nothing was too much trouble

Only if you need to book a hotel in Nenagh!

The hotel was adequate but lacks "soul". Not a bad experience, just not a great one. The walls are very thin and as a result it was very noisy. There was plenty of hot water but no matter how hard we tried we couldn't stop water escaping from the bath area when having a shower. Breakfast was good.

Comfortable but dated

Posted Aug 22, 2016 on Hotels
Room was comfortable, adequate; however décor ( yellow everywhere!) / fixtures/ fittings all very tired and in need of updating. Previous 'outstanding' reviews not justified.

Average at best

Hotel needs upgrading. Room very tired, had big old tv in that did not work. Food in the restaurant very average and no where to eat nearby.

Family getaway

Posted Aug 10, 2016 on Hotels
Great for a little family getaway. Hotel is a little dated but the service was superb and the leisure facilities was great. Lovely playground right beside hotel too, 4 year old loved it! Food in the bar/restaurant was surprisingly very very good and breakfast was yummy, great choice on menu.
