At the end of a small town. Nice host to provide tea and cakes when we arrive. Quiet and beautiful garden. The only bug is there are some host 's stuff in our room. The bathroom is not clean enough.

Quiet and comfortable

Posted Apr 22, 2016
Pros: Location - while it is off the beaten path a little, Nethy Bridge is within easy distance of all there is to offer in the area for an excellent price.
Cons: Some more hooks or a rail in the (family) bathroom so we could hang all our towels up (and/or our nightclothes) would be nice.
Location: Within an hour or less drive from Urquhart Castle, Loch Ness, Inverness, Cairngorm ski area, Elgin, Balmoral and lots and lots of distillery's!
A lovely home, off the beaten path but with a sat-nav no problem finding (the directions on the website are a little vague). Our room was very clean, comfortable and with all the amenities. There were 3 of us in the family room which suited us perfectly as the 2 joined rooms provided plenty of privacy. Breakfast was delicious - fresh and made to order - a great way to start the day. Trish was very nice, very helpful. Nethy Bridge is a good location with lots of great restaurants in the area - just be sure to make a reservation though! We'll definitely stay here again next time we're up here.

Nice locality

Posted Sep 5, 2014
Pros: Friendly atmosphere
Cons: None
Location: National parks and walking trails
Owner greeted us with a hot pot of tea and cake after we had settled in our room. The room was comfortable and clean. The owner was very helpful with places to dine and attractions in the local area. Knowledge of other localities to visit whilst on our car trip proved also to be interesting. Breakfast menu catered for all tastes and generous in portions.

Charming house, rooms were clean and had everything you need. The host is incredibly charming and very knowledgable about surrounding areas.
