Our corner suite had an incredible view on the Lake of Neuchâtel with the Alps in the background, especially the 3 majestic "Bernoises", Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau ! The also have a fantastic rooftop bar (inside and outside with lake view) called "Waves". The hotel is conveniently located, close to the Place Pury and downtown Neuchâtel

Wouldn't stay again for business
Poor internet in rooms! Lost a parcel that was agreed to be shipped to them for me as a guest Hotel staff friendly but not very useful. Used it for business, but couldn't work with the rubbish room wifi. No solution offered, or follow up on my multiple complaints during the week i stayed. Wouldn't stay there again.

Check in was easy and very helpful. Thank you Julian This was following an awful experience at previous hotel. Breakfast was good value lots of options. All facilities excellent. Highly recommended.

Our suite was really good. The extra 1/2 bath was convenient. The breakfast had good options. Very well located.

Best Western in Europe is leagues ahead of their US properties! The Hotel Beaulac was wonderful: helpful, multilingual staff; location convenient to the university and historic town center; abundant breakfast buffet; fine dining at lunch and dinner. I greatly enjoyed dining outdoors on the restaurant terrace and sharing drinks and light snacks with friends at Waves, the rooftop bar with both indoor and outdoor seating. Rooms are well soundproofed and the AC kept me nice and cool during Neuchâtel's dog days of summer. Strong water pressure in the bathroom, and the water runs hot almost immediately. The Nespresso machine and electric tea kettle in the room were an unexpected bonus. Rooms with a likeside view are the best - mine even had a small balcony with table and chairs, great for watching boats gliding in and out of the port. My minibar apparently wasn't a minifridge (or wasn't working?) so I couldn't chill my water. Apart from this very minor inconvenience I had a terrific stay. Highly recommended.

As lovely as Neuchâtel.
Very enjoyable as always. Close to every kind of transport for my business and leisure activities. Friendly service at the front desk, very accomodating. Got a reasonably good fare for my stay, which I welcomed since the Beaulac usually is on the “this shouldn’t be that expensive” side. Any nitpicks? I’d say the service at the Waves lounge was a bit weak this time. Wil return for sure.

Great location and room - disappointing service
Great room - I had booked a junior suite. Despite this expense it was disappointing to arrive (early around 1am) and find that all the parking spaces were reserved and that there was no availability to eat in the hotel that evening. Reception did their best to find me somewhere 15 minutes drive away but I was amazed that a) I didn’t get an email from the hotel to highlight that availability would be an issue and b) that they’ve not managed to be able to provide dining facilities for all guests. Other hotels I’ve stayed at in the past few weeks have managed this well with dual slots over dinner. Also because they’d decided to use the rooftop terrace as a restaurant in the evening (yet still not enough availability!) there was nowhere to sit and have a drink in the hotel other than your room. Finally, every time I had to go to reception there was a queue of 15 mins or more. Mainly because there is no concierge desk and reception are not just checking people in or out but also fulfilling this role and answer guest queries. Not good for a 4 star hotel. Great location next to the lake, the room was great and the reception team did their best. Seemingly just poorly managed but of course they will always do well because of the location. It’s just a shame as it could be a really great hotel!

Perfect location and a fabulous rooftop bar. Friendly and helpful staff and spacious well appointed rooms. Probably the best place to stay in Neuchatel unless a 5 star rating is important to you. Like other hotels in Neuchatel the Beaulac offers a tourist card that delivers free public transportation, even a cruise on the lake and multiple museum and sights entries in the region.

Very clean rooms. Friendly staffs. Amazing location. We enjoyed the bar on the rooftop in the evening and very well organised breakfast in the morning. They arranged everything very well considering the COVID situation. I definitely recommend this hotel.

it was very refreshing and memroble to be back in Neuchatel after 44 years , I was in for 12 months neuchatel in 1975 and your new facelift was a pleasant surprise . good to see the progress of the city and it was a pleasant stay with great service and the friendly staff always willing to help . good luck .
