Clean hotel in beautiful neighborhood

Posted Jul 24, 2017
Pros: Location, cleanliness, friendliness of owners, size of room, amount of natural light in the room.
Location: Safe location, parks and attractions nearby, as well as a lively bier garten
My family (4 adults) enjoyed staying two nights at Hotel Kriemhild after staying one night in downtown Munich. Hotel Kriemhild is family-owned and well-kept. We stayed in their suite which was plenty of room for all of us. We walked to the bier garten down the street for dinner one night -a lively place. This hotel is also in a great great location if you are a runner -two parks nearby to run through. We walked to the Schlosspark Nymphenburg and toured the palace and the grounds.

Clean, family friendly hotel, very quiet.

Posted May 5, 2017
Our family (4) stayed at this hotel for one night in the suite and it was great. Room and washroom was spacious and very clean. The hotel was walking distance to Königlicher Hirschgarten which had really good food. The hotel is 20 min away from downtown so I would recommend booking this hotel if you have a rental car or if you don't mind the public transportation.

The staff were friendly and accommodating , the rooms were clean and the breakfast was delicious. Even though the location is a little ways from city center there are a number of interesting sites in the area and good transportation is just a five minute walk away.

Value for money

Posted Dec 8, 2016 on Hotels
A family-run small hotel located at a quiet neighborhood, 9 tram stops to the city center. The nearest train station (leading to airport and also city center) is in 15 min by walking. We stayed in a family suite with a separate small bedroom attached to the main (bed)room. Bathroom is spacious with separate bathtub and shower area. Free onsite parking is available. We found it's value for money!

Suburban convenience

Posted Aug 2, 2016
Pros: Quiet, residential location but convenient to restaurants and local services, including tram, bus and train.
Cons: This is trite but I hated the pillows. Beyond that, a very nice four day stay.
Location: With in twenty minutes you could be at central station in the heart of Munich. From there you can go just about anywhere. Museums for all interests.
Lovely small hotel in a residential area but walking distance to restaurants, services and the largest beer hall/restaurant in Munich. Easy access to train (15 min. walk) or tram (5-7 min. walk). Very nice, self-serve breakfast with many choices in a spotless dining room. Older building but the rooms was modernized with a clean, convenient bathroom. refrigerator/mini bar in the room with unusually reasonable fees. There is a lift for upper floor access. Although the owner/managers are planning on adding air conditioning throughout in the near future, not all rooms were air conditioned, including ours. I wasn't aware of this when I booked, but we were given the option to switch. We opted to stay where we were since the provided fan was ample and we don't particularly care for air conditioning unless the conditions are extreme. So, if you need it, book your room accordingly. Front desk was always helpful with sightseeing suggestions and explanations of train, bus and tram schedules. We moved about pretty flawlessly. We didn't have a car but there appeared to be ample parking off-street. WiFi was free and reliable. Points of interest: BMW museum. Allow 1.5 hrs. 2.5 more if you do the factory tour. Their are museums, palatial estates (Nymphenburg Castle, for one), the Glockenspiel at Marienplatz, shopping for every taste and 100's of restaurants. This is a big city. Use the metro if you want to see it. The English Garden is cool but massive. Rent a bike.

Clean, quiet

Just one night as we were flying out of Munich the next day, good location, right by the Nymphenburg Palace. Quiet, clean, kitchen on premises where you can use the coffee machine.
