Its a good and quiet place with everything basic you need. A bit off the tourist path though, so would rather recommend it for business travellers or people who prefer peace and quiet.

Comfortable guesthouse with lots of pluses
Quiet location, friendly staff, great breakfast at reasonable price, very clean, generous offeeing free water, tea, coffee. Comfortable bed, good shower, decent layout of the bathroom. Warm room. enough room around the bed. No safe, security is good.

Couldn't connect to the internet.
No parking in front of the hotel. Have to drive up a 5 inch curb stone to park half on the sidewalk, half on the street to unload luggage. Garage is tiny. Difficult to park even a midsize car (I tried). No connection to the lobby. Need to walk back up the steep ramp. Room was clean with temporary furnishing. Need to put suitcase on the floor to access it. Tiny TV. Reception closed at night. No internet connection. I actually tried hard to connect to the internet. Even restarted my laptop. No luck. Receptionist told me that I am the very first guest who ever had a problem connecting to the internet. I had an internet connection at the hotel where I stayed the days before. I have internet connection now. A good internet connection is essential for my business. So, I cancelled my reservation. Did not even stay a single night. The hotel did not charge a fee. Thank you.

A quiet gem
A beautiful stay on the outskirts of Hamburg. We wish we had more time to enjoy the area. An overnight stay did not give it justice.
