Easy going spot w/ great views

Posted May 28, 2017
The view was great from the beachfront cottages and the whole property has a relaxed, island feel. The reception area was not fancy but our room was clean and had A/C unit. The restaurant was pretty good and definitely well-priced. The pictures on the website are a little misleading as the beach area was not maintained at all with mismatched beach chairs everywhere and lots of sea grass growing just a few feet into the ocean. Our cottage was well maintained but not decorated at all and the guest houses are right off the road so there is a fair amount of road noise. Overall, it is a value compared to other spots on the island.

The cottages are very quaint with screened in porches and you can see the Caribbean. The room is very basic however but it met all of our needs. The beach was very nice. We wanted to see Nevis and this was a great place to stay overnight. Very relaxing and I would definitely come back again.

Paradise away from the crowds !

Posted Mar 31, 2017
Pros: Very relaxed.
Cons: The rooms could do with a bit of updating . The food is a little basic but still sufficient. We would of liked more fresh fish.
Really impressed with the setting, quite idyllic. The sun beds and hammocks are there right outside the room , the beach is 2 steps away and all you can hear is the lapping of the sea and the birds. Not jet skis or loud music to spoil the tranquility. Definitely will return, the 3 days here were not enough.

Beautiful resort right on the beach

Posted Mar 29, 2017
Besides the air conditioning not working, which may have just been a broken unit, this place was so nice. It's quaint, quiet and comfortable. You walk out of your room and go right to the beach.

Good Morning Jaimie Thank you for your incredible feedback of our establishment. We do apologize for the mishap with the air conditioning but as with all technical and electrical equipment, they do tend to give us a little trouble at times. Needless to say we have taken your comment seriously and is running a string of maintenance in our rooms. We do hope that you will visit us again in the future. Thank you once again.

Evening at the oaulie, A nevis institution

Posted Mar 19, 2017
Pros: Location , the view is priceless.
Cons: The air conditioner .
We stayed one night at the oaulie though we spend many fun evenings listening to music and days enjoying the beach. The room was ok but could use some love. The air conditioner made noise all night. We love the oaulie , but we would love it more with an update.

Nice hotel on the beach

Posted Mar 19, 2017
Pros: this hotel is right on the beach. clean rooms
Cons: microwave in room. need trash cans on beach. had none
Location: horseback riding.
Great protected bay. Great for swimming. Fun snorkeling, not much to see except conch and starfish. Front desk people were not helpful, did not know where the closest ATM was located. Seemed more interested in their devices.Stacy, however, was a bright light and very helpful and friendly as was John the owner. The Tuesday night jam was great and welcoming.

My Dear Client, thank you very much for posting your concerns as well as your enjoyments of your stay with us. It was my pleasure to serve you and as front desk and reservation supervisor I will address the issues that you have put forward and make recommendations to management so that on your return to us, you will be given improved services. In terms of the snorkelling, due to the location of the beach and tides that come in, it does make it sometimes difficult see the great under water life that's off our coast. Another option you might want to take advantage of upon your return are the great snorkel trips offered by the water sports services for your maximum enjoyment or you may snorkel the reef off Nisbett Plantation. Thank you again for your valuable feedback in which we will use to improve the experience of all our guest. Stacy Parris - Front Desk & Reservation Supervisor.

From St.Kits Airport to the water Taxi dock owner driver name Selly Rawling of 'Seamus drove to the dock . He also arranged the water Taxi so we wasted no time reached hotel on time. His service and total experience on the island was excellent.

Beautiful setting close to the ocean.

Posted Feb 28, 2017
Pros: The location was great, it was a beautiful setting and a wonderful place to unwind and relax, we enjoyed swimming in the bay. The beach was so close!
Cons: As stated above, either provide more information about other places to go eat, or make the ( very limited ) menu more affordable.
Location: Isolated from other places ,you have to take a taxi, rent a car or figure out the public bus system. We felt uninformed about the options.
We arrived on the water taxi, it docked right at the resort. We loved the ocean view from our cottage! The buildings are older, but pretty well maintained and very charming. It is certainly not a 5 star resort, but it was a very pleasant place to stay. We found the office staff to be sometimes very helpful and sometimes they acted as if we were interrupting them. We did not really ask very much of them, but they could have offered to help us learn about optional things to do while we were there. It would have been nice if they had been more forthcoming about how to get transportation to leave the resort. We had read reviews about TC being a taxi driver, so when we saw her car in the lot, we located her and arranged a tour of the island. That was a great thing to do. She was great, a real character! The hardest thing about staying here was that it felt isolated . The food at the restaurant was very high priced - too much for the size of servings and quality. We actually stayed at the Marriott on St. Kitts for a few days after leaving here and the prices were very similar, but the quality and quantity of food were much better at the Marriott.

Lovely break from the winter, but plan to eat out

Posted Jan 3, 2017 on Orbitz
Please book the transportation package from the airport to the hotel -- so worth the extra cost! Really nice place but they must make some improvement of the restaurant/food. The price of food is outrageous and it seems they use MSG (seasoning salt) in the food. To make matters worse, the portion is very small; we had to leave the hotel to find food in the town miles away after eating their miserly meal. Someone needs to open a food stall nearby...
