Central and spoiling

Pros: Very efficient service and great breakfasts
Cons: Beds - see above
wonderful luxury hotel - only the beds were hard - so do ask for softer ones! The hard ones were their new ones they said so perhaps make sure they still have some less hard!

Old European luxury

This is truly luxurious hotel with a lot of history. Walking distance from Hermitage. Service was impeccable. Concierge Maria was just amazing guiding us to different places. Room was huge and so classy. I felt like I was a princess. I think this is one of my favorite hotels. Must say for sure!

This historic hotel puts other "five star" hotels to shame. We felt like royalty. If you are able to splurge on a historic suite, by all means do so!

L'Europe was a great restaurant for an elegant dinner. Cavier Bar was an adventure with Vidka. This is a very famous hotel with tradition

City centre luxury hotel

Pros: Its comfortable bedroom, its position so close to city centre attractions, its helpful staff. Despite its city centre position, it was quiet.
Cons: The minibar and inclusive breakfast price is very expensive.
Location: Its city centre location means it is close to many of the main tourist attractions, as well as shops, restaurants and cafes.
We arrived to the offer of a welcome glass of "Russian champagne" and helpful, courteous staff. Customer service throughout our five night stay was exceptional. The hotel is in a handsome classical building situated close to the main tourist attractions - eg: Just off Nevsky Prospekt with its many shops and cafes and close to The Russian Museum, the Church on Spilled Blood, The Hermitage Museum, etc.
