The bathroom tub wa dirty with a layer coming off the tub floor. The shower curtain was stained and smelled bad. The bed sheets also smelled bad. So glad it was just a quick stay.

The driveway to get in and out of the property is a bit unusual (can’t turn left into the property). Despite being pet-friendly, there is very little grass available outside the property. It is a recently renovated (looks like some areas still in progress). For me, this was a quick overnight stay - so, it was good.

Hotel was just ok. Side door is in bad shape….looks like someone pulled the bottom out trying to get in. It’s very loud, people walking through halls talking very loud in the night hours. My room was on third floor next to elevator and could hear the door open and close every time. Elevator door needs some work, very noisy.

The property is being updated. The rooms were excellent with wonderful beds and bedding, wood/tile type floors (no carpeting 👍), wonderful window features and room appointments. They need to install safety handles in the shower/tub. Currently a major safety hazard.

Though parts of the property are undergoing renovations, our room was completed, clean and comfortable. We had an afternoon wedding to attend nearby and Carmen checked us in early and gave us time to prepare for our event. Huge kindness!

The property was still under construction and it was a mess. I took pictures to show how awful it was. Wires sticking out of the wall. Exposed outlets. Old scraped up bathtub. Not usable. Unsafe walking conditions. White powdery dust from the construction everywhere. And at a cost of $200 for the night. So loud and noisy. Everyone understands construction and upgrades, but let people know ahead of time and at a better rate. Will be glad to send pictures. All of the staff were very kind and helpful.

I love the service I received from the front desk!! She was super nice and she gave me access to the internet since my cellular data wasn’t working. Even though it’s cold I went to the pool and water was hot which was great. Pool and gym are clean and accessible!! Love this hotel.❤️

Our closet door 324 had the door handle hanging off. The bathroom door lock didn’t work and didn’t have screws. We got back to the hotel and there was a huge puddle of muddy water in front of the elevator and in the elevator. This was not a $200 a night stay. This was motel 6 quality.

It would have been nice to have been notified that the hotel was under construction. The main entrance was not accessible. The alternative entrance was dirty and we had to weave through construction materials. The room itself was in severe need of a makeover.

Construction Site Led by a Lovely Staff
The staff were all incredibly lovely and kind. The not so great part of our stay was the fact the hotel was under construction and we were not made aware of this in advance. Although I understand that renovations/updates are an important part of keeping a hotel current, it felt like a construction site. I feared that my 82 year old mother would trip on the unfinished lobby floor. The rooms were clean, but there was a smell of mildew/dampness in the air.

This location was under renovation. Although I can appreciate a business wanting a better, new look it was a bad experience from the beginning to the end. I arrived shortly after 3p and the hammering, sawing and other activities drove us right back out until after 5pm. Later that evening I chose to take the stairs from the 2nd floor to the 1st only to find the exit blocked by a wheel barrel. Glad we didn't experience an emergency. The downstairs bathrooms were out of service and the dust and dirt certainly aggravated my allergies. This renovation should have been disclosed at my booking. We were very, very disappointed with La Quinta and Hotels.com. We chose to eat breakfast somewhere else. We didn't want to take the chance of food contamination.

Arrived and there was no at the front desk. Hotel is under construction. Other people who are staying and trying to check in are just waiting. We called while at the desk and dinged the bell and no one ever came to assist.
