Nice hotel, close to everything.

For a family of 5, the largest room was still a bit snug but we made it work. The hotel was nice and well furnished. The pool is small but comfortable. The breakfast is simple but a welcome amentity. The vending machine prices were very reasonable. I would definitely consider this hotel again if staying in the area.

It's a big room for the name. Thought the rooms would be small. Great staff

Pros: The room was clean.
Very disappointed in the breakfast and the gal working behind the desk. When I told her the apple juice was out, she didn't say a word and acted like I was putting her out. I also told her the batter for the waffle maker was gone, again she acted like I was putting her out and told me to use the strawberry one, which I proceeded to tell her wasn't working. She was rude and very unfriendly, not what you should get from your hotel staff. I will not be staying at this hotel again.

STAY AWAY!!!

Posted May 18, 2016
Check-in: The guy working up front didn't even look like he worked there. It was very casual attire, no name tag or anything. I offered the confirmation number a couple of times and at first he seemed to stubborn to take it. The room: first of all, the place didn't seem too busy at all. So why am I at a room at the end of the building that's obviously next to a busy street (I learned this at 5am!!!)? Second, the room is dirty. The carpet was visibly dirty. I stepped down in my bare feet after taking sandals off and it felt dirty. The walls had stuff spilled down in various places and were not cleaned. By the color I am guessing coffee was spilled down them. The bed skirts were worn and torn - saw several holes and tears in them - just looked tacky. The baseboard was pulling away from the wall nearly all the way around the room. Third, the temperature control was horrible. If the air was on it was freezing (as low as 65) but the room would get upwards of 80 before it would kick back on. Lastly, the beds are FIRM. Maybe you like a firm mattress but I do not. Maybe these issues could have been solved with a different room? Not sure...I checked in late in the evening and most of the "pressing" issues for me (noise, temp, bed comfort) were discovered past the point of me being willing to move. Sorry, but I don't think I should have to change rooms to have a visually appealing room on the inside.
